I'd rather go without than take what you'd bring.

Yea, it should be able to go in-game. Are you sure it isn't 54,000?

ill just add the nodes and stuff and compile it cuz adding detail parts may cause more polys causing it to create lag. besides, i like it the way it is

On the right wing there, the hole, thats probably what gave you collision problems. It needs to be Flipped, and also any other backwards faces. Flip Mode helps with that
I think you're making some fine progress, gmax5. Martynball's just jelous ;)

have you seen martynball's modeling? hes not jealous of something gmax 5 downloaded...... speaking of which, you gave us the POLYGON count, NOT the triangle count. triangles are all that matter. how many does it have?

way too many. Edge mode, select all, auto edge at somewhere around 15 maybe, experiment with that number convert to poly convert back to mesh check the new face count
I think that lets you keep your texturing while reducing faces, but I may be wrong. I haven't tried it, I only read or watched a vid about it somewhere
if you still have flipped faces (ie, still cant make collision with it), this probably wont work right

I'm surprised no one has mentioned the fact that the thing is LOLHUGE. Shrink that thing to where the chief barely fits in it.

That model is a rip-off. Here's a picture of an Me-262: Notice the presence of jet motors, which are somewhat necessary for flight. (sarcasm)

Quote: Make it a glider Good point. But my point was that it was advertised as being a WWII ME-262 Plane...not a customized version. So, if the author of this model was going for historical accuracy, he failed, and it was not worth the money. Realistically though, that thing wouldn't glide for very long. It might not even be able to glide without stalling. Gliders are usually very lightly constructed, but this plane is entirely metal. So, you could change the physics as if it were made out of wood or some aluminum alloys. Then it could be the ME-262 Glider.

[offtopicness]Dude, you need to turn off your monitor and go for a walk or something. Those are pixels stretched across faces between vertices, all easily mushed around into whatever. No need to heat to 1500 degrees or anything. Thus, easily reshaped into a glider or whatever and made to appear as any material. Thats the beauty of VR. Verry cost-effective, if you don't mind the occasional lapse into dillusion ;) [/offtopicness] Oops, I let myself go off topic. Must be that protection vs. open source debate, went to my head. Verry cost-effective, if you don't mind the occasional lapse into dillusion ;) I'm aware that you could easily change that to whatever you want it to be. When did I say you couldn't? I was just trying to go with how it could be made more accurate to the real world without changing the model, since it would be easier for less experienced modelers. Also, no, I'm fine. -_-
