Maybe its because of the fact that he doesn't really like RP maps too much?? (not 100% sure on that)

Enh... Doom was fun but one of my aquaintances got to play Descent.

So... the vehicles...


I will look at the first posts before guessing other than are they stock?

Wait the Citadel Of Quebec is acutally in Halo? i thought it was just a random name for a ship the rpg people put in their mod

I am not sure on the CoQ being in Halo, but I doubt it. The In Amber Clad is the same class of starship, though. That ship was in Halo 2... of course.

No, vehicles can / will be used but they will only be able to travel around on the bottom floor, unless u got some balls and started doing rly foolish things with a warthog lol.

And don't wry hogdriver; server managed to *ahem* liberate the Asis from the map so I could compare it xD
Yes it is in halo if what i read is correct; its seen in rpg_beta4_4 or something....i think

Anyway; we are starting to work on things like tables and such; we shall first start by making the bar have all those lovely Comodaties like BEEEER tables and anything else thats pretty.

I asked if the vehicles were the stock set, not if they would be in the map... I think there was some mention of hogs earlier but there are many types...



And according to you, Dhark, I must have lots of balls D:

edit: I can guess they will not be stock if you are wanting seats... which means... if you made seat vehicles... awesome. :-)

Need a briefing room with a gloss, wood table, several screens, a computer, and a damned buerocrat with a droning voice and a cup of completely black coffee telling us what to do. ;)

The Citadel of Quebec is based off the IAC and is a name I choose.

The CoQ made it's first appearace in RPG_Beta4 which is the only official release of the BSP, others are just re populated crappy mods made by random users that can'T seem to open gmax or 3ds to model. the Citadel of Quebec is set to make a new appearance in RPG_Beta5 in an un announced yet release date( I don't know how to tag vehicles :( ). It is much bigger than the Halo 3 frigate and could even compare to the PoA in-game size. It's Labelled FFG-099. More details on the somewhere in the second page RPG5 thread hehe

Yea, when I meant screwing around with a hog, i meant that yes vehicles will be useable; but probably the first row would be real, 2nd and 3rd would prolly be stock

Briefing room (small) will be very simple, only cool thing is that the screen used in that room is....BIG lol. The larger briefing room is technically simple too; but will get the job done, as for the droning voice coffee guy. Just use a player that holds 1 of our coffee cups / beer bottle weapons. Nothing cant get solved in halo with a beer bottle + someone's unfortunate face :D

Ohh so the CoQ is a vehicle? if so then we'll just have to see if it can compare with the AHMF then wont we? :D

hmmmm; hogdriver do u even know what the AHMF is?? This ship is the BFS, the AHMF is a frigate class and will fit in the frigate construction bay of the BFS

Also enzo i was planning on doing a small descent type map for halo; but itll be rather cool. if anything it will be horrendously annoying to do. But i have faith in that it should be very cool AND different to most of the current CE maps. Unfortunately I got other things to do before i even start with it

Are you serious about the descent type map? Awesome. But I think that getting a full... ahem... 360 degrees of freedom would be hard without some serious modding... anyway, I did not really want to get all into Descent in this topic, last post I just wanted to point out how I imagined the briefing room would be like. But what it does look like is up to you guys :P.

And now I feel as if I had done something wrong.

the CoQ isn'T gonna be a vehicle,, but if I can'T tag my map will be worthless. I got 3 or 4 modelled vehicles that need to be put in the map for it to have any value... I honestly am horrible at modelling but making grass land is rather easy and I guess that since i'm putting the needed effort in the map( adding detail over and over) it'll end up good. It's Hugeass sized but in the end there'll be no wasted space. If anyone could hook me up with vehicle tagging i'd appreciate, really.

hmm... i have a better beam cannon. too bad it takes at least 3 other ships to fire.

now now opsy, no need to thread jack me, we r in this thread for the BFS, not the CoQ :P

Ah freelancer, great game, although starlancer was more for me imo, joystick ftw

hogdriver wtf is that game?? looks nice and odd and....familiar??


Btw the main cannons for the BFS will resemble more the main cannon from Sajuuk (main ship for HW2 at the end) (this pic below is the cannon RIGHT before its about to fire, ill get a better shot later)

its quite old... 4-5 years id say... www.nexusthegame.com
its old. very fun though and you can get the **OCCASIONAL** LAN game because someone ate the master server. Nexus: The Jupiter Incident. a mouthfull.
And i bet your ship would make a good nexus ship...
Nexus has no restrictions like tool... ugh i hate tool.
Anyways it is a cool ship. No longswords though?

Hog, how do you get such big ships in freelancer? I quit the game after I beat campaign because it was getting boring...

as for the caps after the ' It seems related to my new keyboard... I could never seem to get used to it... lol

Just my way to show a little bit of competition lol; if thats what u wanna call it.
All ships except the SE are in line with each other. Keep note that the Amber Klad SHOULD be about 1/3 PoA but Bungie kinda messed up there

yeah I notice... it does seem bigger but it'S up to scale with the masterchief somehow( with the bridge atleast) so it's weird... Now I don't understand how you wanna keep one private:P it seems all fine lol

actually i was moving my MC reference model around the amber clad and its not so much up to scale, it should be smaller lol (imo)

I would think the Asis would actually be from large frigate to corvette, or maybe even cruiser.


I wish Freespace 2 did not have the strange ship classifications >_< it makes my brain hurt to remember the standard classifications (In FS2, its like from smallest to largest in this order: cruiser, corvette, frigate (only one "frigate" and it is big O_o), destroyer, superdestroyer, juggernaut).

oh god freelancers discovery mod has so many here they are in order from least powerful to most powerfull. Fighter, gunship, gunboat, cruiser, battlecruiser, battleship, juggernaut, Heavy Battleship. their is prolly more.

freelancer has bassically no ship size limits. there was a moon destroyer ship that was as big as a earths moon. the funny thing is FREELANCER IS 2 YEARS OLDER THAN HALO.
good luck with all the inside dhark, i cant model inside for crap. wait the CoQ is the h2 ship? ohhhh im stupid lol

chains, why would u need the interior model to the BFS....? Also try with the irregular sphere prism.

Draco is about 1/4 of the asis or even 1/6. I'm a bit lazy to make another render lol

And yea the interior has been modeled for a while; but only on '1st remake' (bfs pe = 2nd remake, BFS SE is 4th remake. [yes i actually made the BFS 4 times and may go to the 5th remake to achieve a higher quality])

Oh and foolish me, i forgot to show you how big MC is to the BFS SE. But; should i really show it? :O nahhhh i dont think any of you are interested lol

Dhark, move the reference model to the window where the bridge would be. I extracted the bridge model and put it there and it's pretty much up to scale. MAsterchief can barely jump without scrapping his head off

no i mean I used the bridge model from Halo 2 and used the chairs and such that have Miranda seating as a reference and it proves rather accurate. Of course it's gotta be scaled up.. when you extract models from Halo 2, they're Very Very Very small and have to be scaled up by about 2000%
