Hey there, I've been working on RPG5 for couple of weeks now but I've encountered a very frustrating problem with Max when working on two projects at the same time. on the ''secondary project'', it says something about corrupted autosave. then, if a day after I close the Main 3ds window(RPG5 BSP), about the last 15 saved copies from it are auto deleted, Right now I was working only 2 hours ago on RPG4_95. I go to my data folder, and the most recent is 87. All the o thers, that had been displaying for all the time i saved the other copies over many days, are gone.No trace of them in the trash, recent 3ds scenes or anything. Very annoying... is there a way to fix this? with the progress I had, I was expecting the BSP to be ready whitin 2 weeks but now, this draws me back from a week and I have to remake a complete section of the map....

any help avaible?

Edit: And Yes I exported the map many times, saw the saved file in the folder whens aving/exporting/importing.

back it up somewhere else than the max folder.
then the little expensive program will not have anything to delete.

Ugh.
UGH.
this shows you what 3,500 $ buys.
Glitch X 10 to the 10,000,000,000,000,000 power.
but, idk if max Nine does it. hmmm.. i still dont know. 3dsmax has its own cpu that spys on you and watches you back up things.
i dare you to put the file in a folder and rar the folder and password the RAR and see what happens then. 3dsmax 8 auto delete loopholes X 10

Max 9 sucks worst then 8 in my opinion, whenever you open it it gives me a loading DLL's error. Also, the default renderr (not pressing f9, just viewing in viewports) is DirectX and that can get quite buggy/laggy.

Thing is yeah, I save directly in my Halo CE project folder... it doesn'T delete files I export but it does delete the original file which I need to be able to use to keep working... I'm looking at the folder right now and version 102 through 104 are there( i skipped the 90s since they had been deleted) let's see what happens if i close it now...looks fine but then again it doesn'T do it everytime so...it's done it 3 times in a month not sure if it happens more during rebootings or simply closing.. this time i'm working only with 1 3ds window opened so i havent got the autobak is corrupt error message
