My friend who was making the map with me appearenly uploaded the alpha. I'm not pissed at him and he wouldnt leak any maps at all as he did it for feedback. Anyway, he forgot to protect it Just so you know, please do not put my skybase, jet, or converable hog in your map without my permission (my xfire is gruntfromhalo or PM me). Anyway please post feedback.

Already slapped. What i ment by dennis not uploading was i hope his readme sucked as in a blank text file or something with no information.

Dennis will still upload a map that has no read me if it passes the play test.

If they ae noobie enough to rip tags and not ask for premission then are probably noobie enough not to know how to change thier names

I shoulda left out the spawn points... That would been kinda hard to alpha test though....

The guy who uploaded it thought that I had protected it even though it was an alpha that i only gave to him and myself.... and he didnt even check..... anyway you better stop insulting people as he will soon find this topic and get pissed if hes insulted too mutch and you dont want to see him mad. Of course if he gets banned for bieng mad then he cant be mad on the forums anymore... but then i'd have to log off xfire for weeks untill he cooled down... Anyway when it gets relesed (as i did place spawn points) i'd like to see feedback instead of the "if you are nooby enough" quoting wars... wait doing that sounds more fun than collecting feedback! Because they are most likely fail tags and not even completely done

What I suggest you do Gruntfromhalo is just remember to allways protect your maps before you give them to anyone

No offence , gruntfromhalo but this is a cumminity we share things here. becuase if someone used my tags in there map, wouldnt that make you feel good about yourself becuase then you now someone likes the tags enough to go rip the map,maey even fix the tags up a bit and use them.

I wasn't giving him a hard time, If anything I was helping him(except for the fail tag thing, sorry about that man)

I was just saying that he shouldn't have given a non-protected map to anyone if he didn't want them used for anything other then his map

First off the question was not directed at you and was specifically directed to the original poster for an honest answer. Secondly you have a lot of gall making negative assumptions about someone else considering your answer specifically says you have no knowledge of the tags or the reason the person has made the request.

Yes dennis but a damanding request and they probobly do fail seeing as though he is saying it that way. and no one has heard of him how do we know he made the map maybe he is just saying he did. Or maybe he is the friend either way just dont rip the tags and he will be happy im going to rip them just to see how fun they are but not use them in anything.

You are making assumptions based on ignorance since you too state you haven’t seen the work. My question had absolutely nothing to do with the quality of the tags and had no bearing on the subject.

You were offering no help whatsoever. In just the opening sentence you expressed your ignorance of the quality of his work and at the same time denigrated him for it and were arrogantly assuming you knew his motives by answering for him. In no universe is that considered helping someone. Anything else you may have posted is rendered meaningless to the principal point of the topic.

Yes meaningless. By the nature of your opening statement in the post no one can consider anything else you might say has having any merit. Whether you meant to or not your first sentence expressed ignorance, arrogance and was blatantly mean. Why would anything else you have to say after that be anything else but from that negative perspective.

Ok, i'm sorry i forgot to pretect a map when i gave it to only one person that did a lot of the work on the project. About the failing tag thing, that is why it is called "alpha". The tags wont be failures by the time the are in the final. The thing about not sharing was the leakers idea and he was too lazy to post it on the forums. If you wish to use my tags just ask first like i hope anyone would do. Feel free to use them as references/improve them.

because the are unfinished and are failures right now When the final is relesed i am planning on relesing most of the tags. The skybase because i don't even want to think about bloodgulchs with the skybase and a bunch of ripped weapons.

I will plan on precting all of my alphas/betas from now on and not pretect/relese tags seperitly for finals.

iv seen the jet some where, same with hog. skybase i donnu, theres not really a point to vprotect :S

The jet and the hog where custom made by me. If you think you've seen them somewhere else i have the 3d model files of both as well as a bunch of model animations taht werent working. for the jet, it is in a folder called gruntfromhalos_jet so take a guess who made it. The skybase? good point. The more i think about it the more i think it sucks....

<insert oppisite of evil laughs here>

Oh and if you didnt know the final will have a differet BSP and besides the BSP sucks really bad compared to anything you could most likely make.

Lol fail at this topic and at your so-called map..

Hey i did make the map with my friend who leaked and if you find anything that I/bungie didn't make my friend must have put it in there as he likes ripping and leaking. I do not support ripping. The reasom everything sucks is because the only things in there that are going in the final are maybe the beretta 92, and an updated vertion of the convertible warthog, the skybase, and the jet.
