you know the shortcut you have going to halo ce, and it has devmode on it without having the program on the halo ce dev and you can just click that and have devmode on without the halo ce dev you know! halo ce develepor mode.

Quote: --- Original message by: cheater101 you know the shortcut you have going to halo ce, and it has devmode on it without having the program on the halo ce dev and you can just click that and have devmode on without the halo ce dev you know! halo ce develepor mode. Am I the only person who understood him completely? If you want that Developer Mode icon back, just copy the one you have, and then paste it, rename it to "Halo Custom Edition (Developer Mode)", then right click and go to properties. Then in the "Target: " parameters, add "-console -devmode" to the end of it, and it'll work. In the quotes... Personally, I find it easier to open Alldev first, then open the normal CE. xD I always open Alldev and Sightjacker before opening Halo. And before you reply and say that you've tried this and it didn't work, like the first post: I'll tell you this, the original developer mode icon? Yeah, that's all it was. Just a copy of the original shortcut, with those parameters. If it doesn't work just doing it that way, then, you're pretty much doomed to stick with Alldev or nothing. It was either here, or somewhere that linked to filefront. I'm not entirely sure. I could compress it to a .zip and send it to you on Xfire if you want. Quote: --- Original message by: Coldfirex just use a trainer there more eficiant and fast i recomend halo all dev and halo trainer 7 I've used the DevTrainer 2.11, and it was okay, but personally, it was annoying too... Not to mention that it conflicted with sightjacker, since Sightjacker uses Numpad5 to turn it on, and Numpad1 to run wireframe (not that I ever use Wireframe in the first place, it's annoying)... I rather just use Alldev and enter the commands myself. Another good feature is to use the init.txt for commands that you use frequently. For me, that's sv_time 0 and rider_ejection 0, and several others... >>; [Edit] Also, just to note now. With the -console -devmode parameters in your shortcut, you can only host LAN games. Using Alldev, have it turned off, start an Internet game, then turn it on. You're basically hosting an internet game with cheats, and it works just fine. Mind you, I don't recommend going overboard with it. If you're going to host stunt games, machinima, or just explore though, it's good to use for invincibility and jetpack and stuff like that... But don't use it during actual games, that's just pathetic. xD; Edited by MF Boom on Jan 16, 2008 at 04:34 PM

Then unless you use Alldev, which -is- the program, you are out of luck. We already explained every method possible.
