Hello

When im bored im playing halo or runescape or anything else i go down stairs
to my lego room where i just sit there and make halo legos,

i managed to make a couple of good ones and now im working on a halo hornet.

anyways if you ever want to see them you can go to this website,

Kiwi's made a Mad Dog Before. They look familiar though.

you stole some of those weapon ideas from that scorpion guy didn't you? but the warthog looks cool. better than i could make and better than some i've seen before.

It's amazing what you can do with legos. Sadly most lego games totally suck. I used to make tanks and robots from legos. The ninja and ice pirate sets were the best ever.

my lego collection was awesome i made a whole ship and put it in my pool. it actually floated too.

HEY LEGO ISLAND WAS AWESOME. I just need to find my CD.

lego star wars was like the only really good well made lego game.

i have a demo for that on my 360. i think I'll try it out.

Yhea nugga, lego island totally pwned, hence the fact it doesnt run on Xp or vista.. only XPspv1 and 95. Dont try to install it, i allmost broke my pc trying that. 5 years ago. lol.

well i think they should make a custom edition map with legos... that would be cool and when u die red lego bricks come out of u so then it no as voilent! lol...

that would be cool. master cheif would be a minifig. weapons would look kinda like the ones in the first post. floor has circles for those bumps. i think making the ammo look different would be cool be taking it too far. vechicles could stay the same for awhile at least for a beta test.

i quickly made a prototype of the lego plasma rifle. Some expert could make the real thing. srry for the bad quallity

oh god...... oh good god. i can point out many problems. the one i will, is that there are massive triangle amounts there. besides, we have real halo, the lego this is like.... why? go mod one of the lego games. THAT would be cool

if I can find my damned Lego Island CD, I will.

i ve got both lego island cds here both the orengal and the sequil but i'm not willing to mod them. no i'm not sellin eathier. o with the really bad model, i spent like two minites on it i just wanted to show what it could look like. also what do u mean by triangles? i only see rectangles and cyilnders

all models are made of vertices and triangles. when triangles are grouped together they are called polygons. when in editable poly, u edit the polygons. when in editable mesh, you edit the individual triangles. the polygons are shaped to make the model (becuase editable poly is basically the only way to model )
now the cylinders have 18 sides by default and 5 height segments. in this case, every polygon on the sides have 2 triangles. so, 18 sides * 2=36 triangles for sides then 36*5 for the height segs which=180. not a big deal. the tops are one polygon, but have 18 triangles. there are two tops 18*2=36, 180+36=116 triangles. still no big deal. now lets say u use 4 or 5 of those cylinders? comes out to between 500-600 triangles (im doing this all in my head so excuse me for not being able to figure out 116*5 on the fly :U). this, of course, STILL is a low amount of polygons.

this is sigma's mauler. it has approximately 2.5k triangles. NOW we are talking about a bit of graphics lag for low end computers (considering the mesh of the level and other players and other objects). so this detailed model would be used only for fp. for 3p, i would remove all of those little detailed parts there to take the model back down to..... i think about 1.8k triangles. the ma5c on snowgrove has about 2.5k polygons, but they use a thing called LOD which allows the game to render different models based on your distance from the object. the farther away you are, the LODs should show less detail to the point where it only has maybe 100-200 triangles.
the short version, polygons dont matter, triangles do.

I personally like that model, it is very realistic. Looks like real legos, but apparently, Halo's engine hates CGI quality models and realism.

actually i think that it is a pretty well done model (even though it is only 4 pieces!)
