I use tool to compile the map then i play halo and when i start a lan game the map isnt in the list! But it is in the folder! what is going on?!

im not that stupid i used (this is an example) tool build-cache-file levels\test\tutorial\tutoiral and it compiled fine it just doesn't show up in the halo game but it IS in my maps folder

Rename the scenario file and compile it again.

ok now it shows up no i have anuther prob: any map that i compile myself, doesm't play. It just gives an exception... would anything have to do with my globals?

where should i be looking for them? I looked in my debug txt and that only records what i last did with tool sapian or gorilla and the network log is what you see above....now where?

most exemptions are encountered on new maps testing are because 1 u added grenades as starting equipment 2 u r trying to plat ctf with no flags set

ok first of all CLS i switched it to multiplayer..... and second i have both flags set to the corect teams.... and thierd i know not to set grenades like i do weapons. If you have any more resons that it could be please post wile i keep tinkering with it!

Only 6 vehicles in globals, more or less exceptions Does it exception while halo loads, or when halo is loading a map?

ok first, Did you say there HAD to be exactly 6 vehicles in teh globals? because i have 5! and second, It give exception when i load the map not at the loading screen for halo ce.

Make globals have six vehicles, and see if that fixes it. If you want to cut down the map's file size, make the sixth vehicle use another vehicle's collision, gbxmodel, and other stuff

probably has a bunch of custom content. I modded bloodgulch a bit as a mod testing grounds and it turned out to be over 70mb.

it a HUGE map i made in gmax that i didn't intend to be this big! i set the scale to 6000 langth, and width then for hight a i did 2000 and it looked way biger than the one on the tut.... and if i set it even 1 below it is to small..........odd

make sure the "whole object" is scaled to 100%. Only scale the geometry within the object. For reference, blood gulch's bases are about 68 halo units apart, or 6800 in max
