First of all, what led me to hunt for them was when I was messing with this biped: http://hce.halomaps.org/index.cfm?pg=3&fid=3204

and I turned him into this:

main changes are a total revamping of shaders and bitmaps. through this I emulated bump-mapping by using a "flat" texture for the main texture and a bump-mapped multipurpose.

blah blah blah... well there is also a reason why I have yet to make such changes to the fp arms. I do not like the FP arm textures that come with this biped because it is already bump-mapped; even if I had the bump map so I could make the effect greater when a part is shiny, the effect is lost because the main texture also has the bumps. And the multipurpose texture by jahrain just... I never liked it.

I decided to search for it here and of course I had absolutely no luck. Closest thing i came to was the textures for the third person model, and z_teams maps which have the exact plain texture I would need, I think. But because they are protected, they would be [sarcasm]very... very... very... VERY fun to rip from[/sarcasm](and besides, thats not a good idea to even think of).
Only thing I have yet to try is google, and right now I have to go eat.

So... what I would like to know is where I could get the halo 2 fp arm texture and maybe even a bump-map for it if possible.

bumpmaps dont work for anything but bsps, bottom line.

uh... I tend to apply it to the multipurpose to give it the illusion that its bump-mapped... >_>

I even explained that in my first post.

I'm not sure but I think there are HALO 2 fp arms included with on of the HALO 2 bipeds on this site. And how did you make that visor? it looks much better.

alright, as long as you realize that bumps are bsp only.
but yeah you can get them with the halo 2 chief biped

what I am wanting is the FP textures that do not already have the bump-map applied via some image editor such as photoshop.

well when I finally got time to look... I found I had 2 bipeds I could try...

the one I used and jahrains biped... O_o... which, since the fp arms for both bipeds are the same, I'm screwed in that case.
