I'v been having trubble with making hills wih the vertex's. When he selects one of them it comes up with some pritty collerfull and he selected one and pulled up. but when i do that i get the boaring oragne and gray select thing. and i cant do anything but move stuff with that. im using yayap's tutorial final i already e-maild him but he hasnt repawnded for a wile. so i was hoping someone here could help me. thanks.

umm that not what i mean. you see in page 14 in the yayap tutorail and he has the arrows then he pulls up on that and makes a hill what you told me to do was kind of off the question. like if you have the tutorial look at the page and you will see what i mean.

please dont corret spelling it not nice.... we on the internet tiyping on a forum..... uts not like we are typing to like a king or somthing. like we say lol i could say your spelling it wrong!! now can we all just get along...(i know we cant but i just had to post this i hate people coreting spelling becuase we typing fast.. we guna make mestakes. we only human..humans suck)

anyway i dont see what you wanting me to do i have that stuff set right its like in the pick he clicks on a vertex and then the arows come up sorta like the ones in sapien when you place somthing... and he goes to the top arrow and pulls up he says but my arrows dont look like that or do that. they just have 2 gray arrows and 1 orange one. and dont get mad at me for not understanding. this my first atempt at moddeling.

yea sure selentic like you have never made a spelling error in your life! We on the internet not talking to the president. now as a respawns to te answer: i already tried that it does no more... gmax is making me mad. you wouldn't like me when im mad!!

selentic why dont you just leave you are not helping anything! just leave the internet alone on spelling it doesn't matter on the internet unless you writing like a document or something... but here on halomaps it doesn't matter so just answer some questions or say nothing it that simple. its like if you have nothing nice to say don't say anything at all. what to you want us to do check our spelling in word everytime we type a post?! i just want my dang question answerd without you complaining that you only you i'v never had trubble with anyone els about spelling out of all thous people YOU cant read my spelling. that is realy sad.

Your posts are readable, I see no problem.
Also, your problem MIGHT be related to gizmos. Try pressing 2 or F2. I can't remember which one it is.

ok how do you take screenshots of gmax. if i can figure that our i can show you

1) to take a screenshot press the "prt scr" or Print screen button on the top right of the keyboard. then open up paint and go to file> paste. then save it and upload it to a image hosting site like photobucet or imageshack. post here.

2) Selentic is right. this isn't an aim conversation with your buddy. we expect you to be able to type legibly. Dennis would agree here. now wheres that thing dennis always posts about typing...

hit X on the keyboard. its the transform gizmo button. Thats what it in in MAX, anyways...it fixed the same thing that was happening to me.
