I jsut played the crysis sp demo and after i got my first few kills and had the suit under control i got an halo feeling of some sort. You know an soldier in an battle suit with an energy shield gave me the feeling that i have with the masterchief. Although the setting of the 2 games are totally different they still have a lot that they share.

Also maybe it could be possible to make an crysis mod like the metroid mapping did with metroid (juts an idea i dont know if it would be possible to make 4 different effect for the masterchief suit's)

I think crysis is the perfect combination between the earleir far cry and the halo series.

Except Crysis is a brand new game, and Halo is a port of a game from 2001, with a development time of 1 year. Great reasoning.

i would consider buying that if i ever get a new computer cuz theres no way my current PC could handle that.

Crysis's engine is waaay better than Halo's. But you have to remember that Halo uses a 7 year old engine. Halo 3's engine (Blam v3) I would say could compare to Crysis. Just Crysis has a way better shader engine and real time.

i would enjoy mapping on a better engine. its the only reason i would get h3 if it came out on PC with and EK. so i think i might get gears PC cause it has a better engine and an EK.

if i want to have a fat guy with a rediculously huge gun and tiny head in my field of vision, ill play gears of war. i want crysis, badly, but i dont know that my pc can handle it

crysis is only for P hanc right? i know mine cant handle it but im getting a 360 soon if its out for consoles too.

i was comparing the battle armor of crysis to the battle armor of halo XD that crysis suti felt like the halo suit in an way

Yeah the halo series is qute an succes and will be always one of my favourite game series but crysis didnt just raised teh current game standard but it took it in 1 hadn and had an rocket launcher in the other and after cramping the current standard in the rocketlauncer it shoots it so far away that it is only a little dot in the sky XD.

There isn't anything to compare. Crysis in the long run is way better than Halo.

Ontopic: I said its better than Halo just by its Graphics and Engine. If it was compared to Halo 3 I see what you are saying. When I first played it I also had the same feeling. Not to mention almost everything can be destroyed.

This is a pointless topic. Just by looking at Crysis, you can tell that it's engine is far superior to that of Halo's. It's like comparing apples to oranges.

When playing crysis it gives me an halo feel because of the energyshield and that you are in an battle armor. I'm comparing that to eachother not the whole aspect of both games

Sorry, your wrong. They are different type of games but Crysis you are more free. You can do a mission however you want. While Halo its mapped out for you.

But I didnt say Crysis was great. I just perfer it over Halo. Although its too much like their other game Farcry. Basically Crysis singleplayer and Halo 3 multiplayer.

all those other far cry games where add on's not an completly new games or for an other game platform but this is the real follow up for far cry

so crysis isnt the real far cry 2 XD

Besides, you'd have to have a monster machine to play that game anyway, as compared to halo which really doesnt use much at all in terms of resources. if your comp cant play halo then you have problems....with living in the 90s. Why not compare halo to something more realistic...oh idk maybe HALF LIFE!?!?!?!?
