im using yayap's tutorial for gmax and im still on the texturing first of all i never get all the polys is there an easyer way to select then the box around it (you know what i mean) and when i get it (rarly) the textruing all messed up in some spots the ground texture on the cliff and the cliff texture not always there. plz help im a noob modeler

select by material ID. Its in the face's surface section
selecting while holding ctr adds to selection
selecting while holding alt de-selects from selection

yea but i dont know wich plys go to the cliff or the ground.

I don't understand. Perhaps a screenshot would explain better...

Try pressing "F" for front view, and select the walls from upper left to lower right, just above the ground. Be sure to have "Ignore Backfacing" unchecked
