custom weapons: how do i make em lie on their side??? i have a #ground point on the side of the weapon btw...its just still sitting on its handle...

....? i made a simplified collision model (too many errors on the actual model)...dont tell me i need 2 make the collision model and the normal model exactly the same... that would be impossible actually, because my normal model has lights which have open edges...

dose your coillision have all teh nodes you other weapon has in the same place

yes...oh wait. yes in the same place, BUT, my weapon has a magazine which is a separate object to the main mesh, and attached to frame magazine...is this the problem? Edited by Hickle Stine on Nov 10, 2007 at 08:50 PM

i just worked it out guys; turns out the #ground point marker is just like any other, its subject to location AND rotation. not just location. so i rotated it 90 degrees, and it lies on its side now!!! YAY!

there is also a marker in guerilla to maintain z axis vertical or smthin like that
