Well I'm going to try this again hopefully no flaming and no offtopicness.
Anyways I've been working on a bubble shield for awhile heres a in game shot (Note need to make a bit bigger)

More pictures to come, tomorrow I'm working on the trip mine after I adjust the bubble shield and give it animations.

Also I did not quit H3T I am just taking a break from FGrain's yelling.

does this mean your actually going to hold the shield gen instead of hovering it like something out of half life 2? good to see it happening ;)

You told me you were working on new bitmaps. Was it for the bubble shield device or the actual shield?

The device and I was crouching when I took the screen shot.

the legs of the device seem to have odd bland textures but i dont have halo 3 so i am sure you know what it really looks like

your huds a bit to white
make it blue and more trasperant

He doesn't want crit on the HUD atm, there's obviously heaps of things wrong with it that will get sorted out in their own time.

shaders on the bubble shield, device and shield both look pretty bad. also, hope this time it wont kill framerate

The bubble shield is about 2x less poly then the old one.

meh the ar does look low but i think the texture on the legs looks like it doesnt belong i dunno though

does the device spin on the top in h3? or am i thinking of the spike grenade?

No, he wasn't the only one thinking that. I would have told him, but it's seems they're a custom mapping team now. Just look at the animations....I disagree, I think he should keep it down there, to make it more custom instead of just a copy of Halo 3.

I think he is trying to get the ar in the halo 3 position, pointing slightly down. With halo 3 replicas, what would you rather do: Spend $60 to $120 on halo 3, or spend 40mb of disk space?

Kiwi would rather spend $60 and get the real thing.

And what if you dont have a 360 and dont want to spend the money on one?

Depends, if I want the real thing, I'll go get a job...in four years....If I want to play a custom mod of it, I'll use 40mb of disk space. I'm saying, why try to make a poor replica of Halo 3's awesomeness, while people who have the game can say, "Haha! I have Halo 3 and you have a pathetic replica!" Instead, we can all say, "Haha! FGrain doesn't show updates I do. He has been doing animations and rerigging new first person arms.

When will you start working on valhalla? I have heard you will do it sometime. No point in just using bloodgulch map, there will never be a beta test since gulch is only used for beta tests. I suggest you start valhalla as soon as the weps are done.
