You know i was reading on wikipedia that on Onyx a whole bunch of humans and Spartan-IIIs where concealed inside a secret Forerunner shield called a Dyson Sphere and protected. So... do you think its possible that a Halo 4 could happen where the MC goes to Onyx and lets everyone out and they go on another mission yet to be revealed?

1) whats this have to do with HCE?
2) anyone can add things to wikipedia, if I go change it to say halo was all about MCs imagination, would you belive that? (I dont realy care if thats real, its just that you cant realy trust wikipedia, except about my school, it realy does have a billion holes in the walls)
3) bug bungie and microsoft, they are the ones that would know weather they are making a forth, not us. or acleast go to a H3 forum, because this is HCE, witch is H1.. acleast H3 is closer.

So wait, being that Marathon and Halo share the same universe, is it possible that the main characters of both games can come across each other in some possible game MS might make? (in-game this would happen via some weird warp hole or a miscalculated slipspace jump)

Tisk Tisk. Obviously some of you dont have the Legendary Edition of Halo 3. In the essencials it says like Kiwi said "We will not make any HALO games" after that they also said "But, we may make another game in the Halo universe". Bascially they can make it called forerunner or whatever they want. Since the Halos are gone there wont be a game based off the Halos. Maybe Bungie will make it continue at the end of the game on Legendary.

After the MC and cortana are lost in space it shows a forerunner planet.

Ya the Gravemind was killed but there could be another. Also what happend to the Brutes? Maybe the Elites home planet (The one they were going to at the end of Halo 3) is infected with the flood and you need to find another arch but for the forerunner plantes. Well only time will tell I guess.

Halo and Marathon are in completely separate universes. Sure they may seem similar, but then again, Bungie did make both of them. They can make them as similar as they wish. There is a FAQ at bungie.net somewhere about this.

Basically saying, why should you need a Halo 4?

and as for that marathon download, you download the game, and put the aleph folder's contents in the scenario folder. then you click the aleph and it runs. controls are very awkward.

Look at Star Wars. In one of the six episodes, Princess Leia was 90% nude.

Then we have Halo, which has a character with no clothing whatsoever. A female one, at that.

Of course, she never gave her avatar any... parts, but it's close enough in my book.

Now, I heard it was going to be a Trilogy, probably something similar to the game Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic (KOTOR) in terms of character development and how different choices have different paths.

I have a feeling this would be set 10,000 years before Halo 1, with the Forerunners fight against the Flood (One of 2 unexplained mysteries in the Halo series, with Truth's motives for the Human-Covenant war, as well as several other mysteries explained in Contact Harvest), but it may be set, oh, say 4-5 years after Halo 3.

EDIT: Also, in one of the Bungie Podcasts, Bungie stated that Halo and Marathon are in 2 different universes and will not be intertwined. MC is not the same as the guy in Marathon.

You're thinking is flawed. The last mass extinction was 64 million years ago. If this game were to take place 10,000 years ago, the humans would not exist because it would be soon before the evolution of humans, meaning that all life on earth (and everywhere else in the galaxy) would have been wiped out just a while before humans fully evolved.

I think that if Microsoft continues Halo, the series will be destroyed.

The only thing Bungie is going to do for Halo is make new maps. Thats it. No Halo 4. Ya, I know I didnt believe it either. But I'm happy they ended it at 3. Now Bungie can maybe remake Marathon or something for Xbox 360 or any of their other games.
