ever since halo 3 came out, almost no one plays halo ce anymore. and the few people that do only plat original maps! i wish there were more people back on ce..........

So you want people to come back to 2 games ago where you have to shoot 5 feet in front of eachother...have to stop and type to communicate, and have boring old weapons, instead of the newest thing ever? Where you can aim at people AND IT HITS THEM!! and the weapons are cooler, better sounds, voice chat, way more gametypes, and man cannonS?!
I think not.

I still like CE more, it is original. =)

Or, you can follow my patented "Easy-to-Follow Anti-Boredom Process of Amazingness"

STEP 1: Go buy an Xbox 360.
STEP 2: Buy Halo 3.
STEP 3: Set up Xbox 360.
STEP4: Play Halo 3.
OPTIONAL STEP 4: Get Xbox Live and play Halo 3 online.

And for those who do not wish to get an Xbox 360 and a copy of Halo 3, please follow this alternate procedure.

STEP 1: Continue playing and making maps for Halo CE.
STEP 2: Deal with the fact that Halo 3 is out.

I choose alternate procedure.

hce survived halo 2, it may survive halo 3. people like making things, and every fps that comes out = more inspiration/stuff to copy

I play both, both are fun.

I just hope we get to move to Halo 2 PC soon...Just a better engine for all our recreating Halo 3 needs.

h2v is apparently the worst thing ever for making custom content... good luck with your h3 maps.... and HCE is more fun, and has more than halo 2 & halo 3 put 2gether right now....

H3 came out... I have it... I'm still here... I only played about 3-4 hours of H3 so far... So what if my 360 went down the drain....

Wasnt this topic about Halo 3... and yes Halo 2 sucks, but it is fun to glitch in campaign. Also in Halo PC's campaign because it actually takes knowledge.

Screw PC..... they always have alot of players..... CE has like 60 at max most of the time...

Halo 3 has like, 500,000 at like 12:00.

No I don't have "show all user created maps" on..... but it's still a close number.... i'm gonna see how many are one right now... i'll be back with the numbers.

EDIT: ok so right now there are about 215 with user created maps off.... including the maps I have. With it on there are about 303 people on.

Big deal..... get on during the week at about 10 and you'll see what I mean.

There's still about a 100 people, Kiwi just wishes there were more so he can see some more good servers.

We need a ridiculous over the top scheme to get more people to play CE.

pffffffft ok how about this....we get kiwi and we put him in a box and mail him to every halo pc player and get him to secretly download halo ce and a bunch of maps to their computer.....or if that doesnt work we could jsut get him to bother them until they get it

If you get the 400$ one you get to play most orignal Xbox games.

Im pretty sure its the same xbox, cept one has the 20gb harddrive the other doesn't.
