ok i just tried to sd oanother beta test of brpg beta 4-4 and I ExCEPTIONED!!!!

i reinstalled hek and i tried to recompikle it and I EXCEPTIONED!!!!!!!!!!

i tried a different map swith different vehicles and every tyhing, i go to play and i EXCEPTION!!


HELP ME!! MY MAP MODDIGN CARREAR CANT END LIKE THIS!! I NEED TO KNOW WAT IS WRONG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!



this is really pising me off!

Yes I know its hard to have a modding career end when you can't speak english... So sad....

ok then ill give you more info



i MOD maps. i was using the string lsit editor when i got the error wher e it says it wasnt the string list. i scraped that nad went 2 the backup file i had for the hud messages. i put in the h2 school v3 sniper rifle in which is literly called sniper_rifle (the origianl snuiep rifle is caleld sniper rifle). i compile my map. tool says its fine. i go to play the map. i exception. ive tried on 3 different maps. i spent an hour reinstallign Halo ce and HEK and still wen i compile it i go to play and it still exceptions....


is that enogh info?


im using tool++ and wen i meen all my maps exception i onyl meen custom maps

no i always get that in tool idc about that...... i want 2 know y im exceptioning on the custom maps im doing. this jsut started today and ive alfready reistalled hek 4 times and reinstalled halo ce once and halo pc once

A vehicle or biped missing an anim wont let teh map work well....

no that never interferes with anything in fact, it just says that regularly and nothing happens usually


ive been using the same vehicle tags and weapon tags for well ... i dunn ohwo long but ive been usign the same oens before this happened



o and accutally it started yesterday wen i tried to test a map on my other comp..... so i didnt test it on this comp... so thats when it started

Did you mess with your globals at all? I dont just mean teh globals.globals file, there are others that are very delicate and can cause exceptions...

yes i did but, wen i reinstalled hek i made sure i didnt put back the globals i had and i used a fresh copy of the h2 hud cglobals, deleted all my faulty string\unicod string lists, checked tyo make sure i didnt make nasythign go wrong....

Fix it or scrap that weapon.

no, thats not the error, my old EMP sniper doesnt match the sniper animations and runs fine lol

did you do a beginer hek problem?.. aka, forgetting to set your map to multiplayer.. lol (everyone forgets from time to time.. well, ive only forgotten once ever.. and i realized what I did wrong right away.. but thats not the point lol)

It could be teh weapon... I did it wrong once, put a 3p anim for teh weapon... It exceptioned every time unless i haed deathless on. It was either that or my corrupt globals that killed everything that was over 4 feet tall... IDK how that happened.... But grunts seemed like the only things that lived...
