Hi.. unlike some people who do nothing but flame them... I'm a big fan of the CMT maps. The thing i like the most are all their cool weapons and vehicles... Thats why i made this post.. I was wondering if any of the CMT members could give me a tag pack including

-Every single weapon and vehicle from the level "Assault on the Control room"

-a Brute spiker

-a Energy sword

-Some different halo 2 covy weapons (Carbine, beam rifle, Brute shot, etc.)

-The HUD from "CMT Coagulation"

I know this might seam like allot of things.. but i really like all your cool weapons and stuff.. so please help me out.

make your own stuff.. the usal rule for CMT is that if there is a responcible seeming person who the members trust, they might be willing to give em a few tags, but you are relitivly new, none of them know you seeing as how you had to make a topic to get in contact, blah blah blah. there are lots of tuts on halomaps, have fun learning (even if you are still wanting the tags, you gotta learn to prove that you are worthy of em anyways, but even if everyone agrees to not give em to you, you'll be that much closer to being able to make em yourself)

Why take someone elses work when you can make your own and have something to be Proud about?

no i think it was longer than that, but i deleted a bunch of stuff and i got more space now.

This reminds me of an experience I had long ago. Went to the local pool and had the foresight to bring a lock with me. When I pulled it out, some nooby kids in there had the nerve to complain about it, lol. They had intended to take my stuff or look through it while I was out in the pool so I had a good laugh at their stupidity and went on to have a good day.

Not having their maps protected wouldn't change anything for the better because noobs just have no respect for good work.

XD thats funny. And CMT's stuff is protected, has been for a while, and will be for a while to come. Deal with it.

lol i agree although i would like to get my hands on lets say the brutes they are making for their campainv2 i would rather make 1 myself so i can be proud of it (and saying Ha i can do what you guys can do) but i wont because i'm to darn lazy XD

As for the weapons, its the chain gun (then one that looks like the flame thrower), the BR, and some other things.. i guess i should of worded it like this..


but its actually quite little. and i will respect their stuff, i have a credit room in my maps, where i put out credits to everyone that helped..




So honestly.. i dont want all that much... and dont tell me to make it myself, because i cant, i dont know how, and i wont know how for a VERY long time..

Of course i will respect their things. anyone who doesn't is a complete idiot.

you CAN, you just have to start reading tuts, and practicing. if someone was acualy dedicated to learning, they could probly have all of HEKs functions learned preaty well in about a month to a state where the could attempt to do everything.

Read tuts, and play with HEK.. its not our fault your lazy.

why cant you read the tuts now? your only gonna get older, and its most likly the HCE comunity will be even smaller in the future.


stop making ecuses, you can learn, and if you put your mind to it, you might be able to get it overly similar appering in a few months. if you want a jump start on guerilla and tags, just unplug your internet cable, and tell your self you arnt gonna plug it back in for a few weeks. I had my internet connection die once, and all I did during that time was play with HEK, and I found a billion little things hiding behid creveses that I wouldnt of spoted if I was just doing set out plans I had for 1337 things (it was acualy when I was making my like 3rd map, sentinels-library lol)

Ok first off, i haven't found a single decent tut on making vehicles, making weapons, making bipeds, and ive used SEARCH i went on ghost tut. and i looked on halo maps. I cant get 3ds max if i tried, and the thing is, when i play with hek, i screw it up.. trust me. i already have..

.........I understand that "fiddle around with hek and you'll learn" thing.. but theres a problem.. Every time i "fiddle" with it, i screw it up and it becomes fubar. Trust me, i tried fiddling with Sapien, and i broke it. had to re-install it. it still wouldn't work.. then i had to ask Dennis and he helped me fix it..

And yes, do the weapons yourself unless you have some other skill and you make a good map with good textures, someone MIGHT want to make weapons for it....but I doubt it'll happen.

I Love Grunts, you need a decent weapon or vehicle tutorial, add killerelf12 on xfire. I'll try to help. You need a modeling tutorial, just mess around with simple stuff in 3ds Max/Gmax, kenney is right, it works. I'm not the best modeler, but messing around is a good way to learn, and its fun to see what random thing will happen to your box or plane... XD
