I know how to make scenery that is destructible but what I am wanting to know is there a way to destroy a face of a model and leave the rest of the model there ie shoot out the glass from a window frame.
Any help on this would be most cool

Thanks all I will do some tests and see what I get but the command is -
Breakable property. This flag or shader symbol when applied to a material that is applied to a face or surface allows the surface to be able to be destroyed or broken. (e.g. glass)

I am trying to make a window frame made of wood and have the glass in it but when it is hit or shot I would like the glass to shatter! I have look for a tut on this and can only find ones on how to make glass or completely destructible scenery. Any help would be most cool

as far as i know you just give the material a - shader symbol. and maybe the # too. i think thats transparent. i think halo just tells it to break the same way every time. and maybe you have to give it the double sided shader too.

You have totally misunderstood my post, and for some reason I can't seem to stopped laughing.
First off, you should make one model for the wood frame window, and make a seperate model of glass. Then in sapien you can try to align them as close as possible. I had thought of that too but when the model that i am making is in place tree or four time that would mean that I would have to place about 60 pains of glass LOL. Was hoping there was a easer way of doing this! But it is looking like that may have to be the case so THANKS alot for the help. just had a thought! add markers to each window and then make a script to attach each of the pains to the model.
