No thats a chevy blazer and the roll bars are placed like that cuz theres a cap attachment that fits over it. The tutorial will be video with text also. It will consist of start to finish (ingame). It will be cut into segments of each type process. I will explain how to setup and use physics and how to setup your tags and make adjustments to the vehicle to get it work work properly. I will aso show you how to add things to the vehicle like extra moving pieces, music, new lights, effects, etc etc etc..... This tutorial will cover ground vehicles. I will include the blazer as an example vehicle with all related start to finish files. You will find readme's in the tutorial to in relation to the file sets. All files will be included even the finished vehicle tags.

Is that two cargo seats in the back, for passengers?

Also, you should have a seat behind the chairs for stowaways (make an animation where they're hidden down between the fold-down door and the seat) that can't fire or anything, just hide. Or a crouching gunner facing reverse to shoot down any opponents chasing. oo;

I can see that truck being used in a GTA+Halo crossover though. Driveby's on random civilians, gangfights, etc. xD; That'd be awesome.

You're gonna get pulled over for not having liscense plates on that. If you do decide to put plates on it, make sure the registration is current

YEEEA! Or a slammed civi hog with rims so big the fenders need trimed. HEHEHE I got tires on my 1979 Dodge Power Wagon that are so big that i had to spend 4 hours to cut some of the fenders out so they would turn XD

BTW is there another way to get the maps? those links don't work?

I will post the beta maps on halomaps for now. Remember they are the betas for the vehicles. Feel free to rip them from the maps. They are not protected and yes i did make these vehicles and have a large collection of flying vehicles....including Sparrowhawk.





Dont matter what anyone thinks anyways. I have a new site opening proly friday called halotags.com. It will be a tags dump site for all tags my staff finds and tons more.

As a big fan of your work and the head progress keeper of the Balaho mapping team(its just a convienient name for the team) i would like to ask you for some help with some vehicles that im sure you would appreciate seen ingame... please contact me via PM or my xfire(comanderzero) if you are interested in helping us out cause we need it...(i really dont want to go back to modeling using my AutoCAD and paint program)

btw the Blazer looks awesome good work

Because Im taking my time to catergorize and try to cover it fully. It will be in parts (ie...model, collision, physics, texturing, rergions, how to adjust your vehicle in tags for each set)Video with text too. Sample model files in 3d file type, for in max referencing and seeing how you set it up and the hierarchys, textures setup with uv's set, How to setup the max files for proper export, Trust me guys it will be good. All models will be ready for export and compiling. All the tags for data and tags (for playing with settings). That way a lot of you will mod my vehicles and come out with some physcotic mad machines :P This is truly learning, I cast a vote that many new vehicles will bring far better understanding of modding halo. Theres a lot to be learned by watching this tutorial and seeing the true setup of tags and all the other files.

Click the very first part of the link, it managed to work for me. Its a chaingun, its not even that great though.

If you are using photobucket then you need to change the IMG to lower case img.

I liked the eclipse and the energy gun the best.
Great work, I like those explosions to, so much cooler than regular boring Halo 1 explosions.

when do you think these vehicles will be completed? id really like to feature one of the hogs in my new race map, but ive got a deadline of the end of the year. maybe ill use the betas of them but id rather have the completed versions if i decide to use them i will definitely give credit where it is due.

i saw some colision geometry issues with all vehicles(the tires sit inside the top of the ground) and it seems the tracked transport hog is a little light weight for its length(it hits a jump and flips) but other than that its all good
