i'm reposting because no one responded because apparently it was brought up in the wrong forum...

a while back i saw on here something about a sworling vortex of red eminating from a thrown grenade... im wondering if this effect could be placed onto an advanced version of an overshield where its effects are timed invulnerability full health restoration, superjump and or speed abilities, and bottomless clip type thing... the red visual would look really cool and it would make the user so obvious that everyone and there mother would be standing by to fill this guy full of lead when it wears off

would this be possible?

Please help or make suggestions, at least post your thoughts?!?

A rare sight, indeed.

It seems like everyone would just go after that and not the flag (if it were CTF)
I don't think that's possible, I'm not a modder...at least not yet. If it was, it's seem kind of stupid.

the point of this is to have it as more of an accidental activation type of thing (no one would no where it is or what it looks like) and if i created it or had help i would place it in a fake wall or floor panel or both

Map secrets don't really add to gameplay though. Sure its cool but everyone will want to go look for it. Unfair player advantages are not good for gameplay either.

*edit* I think I misread what you were trying to do. Something like that would be excellent for juggernaut gametypes.
