for my custom wepon, theres no fireing sound. theres the sound of the bullet hitting, yes melee works, and everything else works. BUT i also get this error when i compile my scenerio in tool

the model 'lazergun\models\lazergun' and the animation graph 'weapons\pistol\pitol' don't match the object 'weapons\pistol\pistol' will not animate
the model 'lazergun\models\lazergun' and the collision model 'weapons\pistol\pi
tol' don't match (node counts don't match)
the object 'weapons\pistol\pistol' will not be collidable

Your weapon wont have collision, and it wont animate. Reason for no firing sound, is that the sound is controlled by that animations tag, and its not animating, so... put 2 and 2 together...

Its pretty much that, just the sound is added as a sound reference in the anims tag in guerilla, and then that is linked to the anim at the bottom.

well idk how to animate, and i think that it might be because i added an extrta node, but slyfoxes tut said nothing about animating. i hope i dont have to animate. also other ppl use the pistol fp animations andd thier model works.

Its completely and totally because you added an extra node.... Don't put any nodes in, dont move any nodes around, just put the pistol node set into the scene in max....

i add and delete nodes, and i never get that problem just make a collision model thats a box and use that as its collision instead of the pistols

well that scarab gun i made ages used the plasma rifle, i moved nodes and deleted some i never made anims and that works perfect so its not anims

Same problem as him. He just also has a collision problem. Anyways, I dont hear sounds all the time with yours, although that could be because of the sheer number and power of the shots...

yea but the anims wont affect it, ive modified the h1 pistol and the h1 ar and they both say they wont animate but they do and i can hear their sounds.
The reason why he cant hear sounds is i bet he is using gmax right?

o come on this is so simple. . .
open ur weapon in guerrilla and scroll to the very bottom.
there shud be somthing called fire bullet.effect. open it up and where it says parts click the 3 dots to browse for the sound file you want the weapon to play when you fire your weapon.

ummmm if hes modified a previous weapon tag the sounds will all ready be there. But i still bet hes using g max because when you export anything that has a #something it fails on its material saying it isn't textured. But #something has to be untextured so tool knows that they are not model geometry, then when you texture them they don't act as they should

Hmmmm, do i link the model to frame gun? because chimp wont export a model if its not linked to a node named "frame", so... Do i link to frame gun? Thanks for the help so far.

there is... once i get on my pc ill try renaming frame to frame gun

i re-modeled a wepon-and its not working.
