what color is the projectile fired by the spiker in halo 3? my spiker shoots black ones and i just want to know if that is accurate.

About that.... I don't think you could tell in the beta... or maybe I never fired it.. .anyway I guess someone else will be of better help.

actually they are like yellow/whiteish....and NO sticky contrails like CMTs crappy spiker....(or mine that still has them)

i remember reading somewhere that the projectiles are pink with a yellowish glow. but not as much as cmt's.

Nope... Last time I got to play the beta (A few days before it ended) It was a black spike, with an reddish-orange and blue contrail. Like this:

<Black[][][]Reddish_Orange[]Blue[]

so, according to this thread it should be black, white, pink, yellow, red, blue and with various contrails... why not just a rainbow spike? lol

No it shouldnt be... I know the spiker pretty well, I used it the most out of any of the guns.... Black Spike then Red then Blue Contrail

lighter black tip, with all the rest yellow, and yellow white contrail

i think hes right. i played the beta too, it was a long time ago though. but i remember it pretty well and i don't recall it being pink. i just read that somewhere, idk where though.

It was definitely not pink, and I know it was partially blue, and I think there was a part of it was red...

in the beta it starts as orange and fades to dark grey.

I can believe that, it makes sense as to why I thought blue...

ok but the contrail is for sure a orange-white?
