It looks really cool I think the turret should be just a snudge smaller because it looks like MC is going to have a hernia. Other than that its sweat!

i think trhat in fp it looks a little odd like if someone looked at it in fp for the first time they wouldn't know what it was other than that it is good though.

Its definitely too big, I'll go look at it in H2 to see how much bigger it is, but it definitely is too big.

Funny how those screenys were uploaded yesterday.... Anyways, the turret does look too big, maybe the hog you took it from was a little oversized...

thats possible. and rm, from what ive tested theyre not noob weapons. gauss gun runs out of ammo very fast, and it takes 2 VERY well placed shots to get a kill. its harder than it looks. the covenant turret has a high rof but is mostly effective on shields. it can get a headshot though if shields are down
gauss = 5 kills maximum covenant = 4 kills maximum
theyre still being toyed with to test out their firing and make certain theyre suited for balanced gameplay. i wont have anything unbalanced in a released map

they sure look like noob weapons but i guess if you tweaked them right you could ballance them and make it just a heay weapon in a map like in replacement of a rocket launcher or fuel rod.
i still want to face against some ai using those lol

Gauss should be a 1 hit kill..... Then again, if you could, make the aim get screwed up a little while you're walking with it to even it out...

dont worry, theyll be in my campaign maps... often times theyll be in the enemies hands though. (not the gauss) and even then theyll be rare.
as for making the user disoriented when holding, dont worry about that. they will slow you down IMMENSLY when carrying them. youll be able to run about 1/4 the speed. in other words youll be an easy target, use them fast or not at all. no whoring permitted.

there is no reload, and the guass turret is surprisingly weak for its size. it would be useless if i did that. the covenant turret is better, in my opinion, and it does overheat from sustained fire
