dude you could not be dead wrong. of the people visiting halomaps very very few people have trouble downloading. I never did. follow the trouble shoot guide and do everything right and it will work.

Something's up. I've never had a problem before and I haven't changed my settings around either. No matter what file I try and download it says: "The connection was reset"

but don't worry people it will be fixed probably with in a day. when Dennis gets on i am sure he will explain anything needing explained. He may not know of this yet. but he won't leave us hanging, he has been a great host so far and that fact won't be changing. it might be a server glitch. Dennis does pay for this out of his pocket so we owe him to be patient.

im not worried it won't stay like this for long

When I saw one of the first topics about this, I was like, yeah right, it can't be. Then I went to see, then I was like "Y'know it's probably my internet connection" (I have a really horrible coneection). But I guess it's true.

actually your right Rm860 it is the replicators... at least something like that but instead of eating the site they are leeching on to the halo CE single player files and disrupting normal gameplay (someone created a retard virus). i encountered one in main game, they take the form of in convieniently placed ai and vehicles crash sites.

but that does not explain the sudden surge of people not being able to download that could two days ago. What you have said does not account for this. I am one of these people who can't download either. Nothing on my compy is any different then it was 2 days ago.

i am not mad i just want to know what to know if there is something wrong with halomaps or my computer. we won't know till Dennis can get one and let us know if halomaps is perfectly fine or if there is indeed a problem.

He will fix it, no doubt in my mind. With large websites errors are bound to happen from time to time, it can't be avoided.
