like when you uncompile a map and hit start can you delete the .txt file afterwards?

You mean the tag list? Yea it has no purpose, delete it. You can just uncheck the box that says save tag list....

yes you can, it's unimporatnt...

and while you extract, uncheck the little text saying "save extracted tag" and it will not make the file.

I would tell you to make another topic, but this is to easy of a question. Just open Command Prompt, go to your default Halo CE directory in CMD, type "tool build-cache-file <yourmap>" (without the quotes, and replace <yourmap> with your map address.
