I know that you can use external apps easily for third-person, but is there any way to make it where it is defaultly in third person when you compile a map??? It would be good for bipeds like elites and stuff.

make a SP map and use this

(camera_set_dead <unit>)
makes the scripted camera zoom out around a unit as if it were dead.

Wouldn't you be able to take the tank camera tracks and replace it with the biped one?.....

No script needed.....
open tags/camera/"biped_small_tight.camera_track" in guerilla,
use position and change the "k" setting till you get your desired cam.
you can mess with the "w" orientation to if you need a little hieght to it after moving away from mc.
You will have to compile maps each time you test though to get it just right.
Make sure to make a copy of the original tag so you can replace it after your done with your mod.

nope tested and it works and i also did this for inhog cam so your looking out the windshield and not ......oh wait a sec that would make it even easier...

Hey take your "biped_small_tight" save it someplace then make a copy of "warthog_driver_tight" and rename it to "biped_small_tight" then place back in tags/camera

I tried the script, it didn't work, also the Scorpion, still nothing. Mabye what Matooba said will work, hold on, let me try it...

Dang, I tried that, and still no luck, it just acts like I didn't change a thing. Did it work on yours?
