About the rocket hog, wasn't it going to have 4 barrels instead of three? I can't remember the exact time but it was last year in a picture that was posted.

They did show a concept at one point that had four tubes offset to the right, but I think they've gone back to the weird tri-barrel configuration used by the default rocket Warthog.

Are spec op jackals similar to jackal rangers, or are they something completely different?

They have unbreakable shields (except for EMP damage from PP overcharge, Plasma and Gravity grenades) and use the BPP and the Shredder to combat flood.

Isn't that how jackal shields always were in all the halo games? The only weapons that you can't use against jackal shields are ballistic weapons like assault rifles or needlers. So basically, they're just regular jackals that have a different name and different weapons.

the shield on these ones is all around the body.

Are their shields rechargeable?

Yes, they also have the regular ai upgrades each AI gets when it reaches another rank, so they are smarter and more aggressive than regular jackals. Other plasma based weapons won't effect their shields either, so no destroying them with PR fire or Carbine fire like you can earlier in the game.

yes its new what it does is pull things near it towards it then explodes.

About those Grenadier Grunts, how do they function in combat?

I'd imagine they throw grenades more often than their counterparts.

yes basically with more heavyer weapons aswell probably.

They could also be suicide grunts, but maybe they're way more annoying.

We got rid of the grenadier ones with the addition of Specop Jackals.

As far as suicide grunts, they are in the works due to some new developments which anyone who is following me on Twitter should be aware of by now.

I bet they do what Brutes do in Halo 3, where if one throws a grenade the rest do as well.

I usually read through your for new stuff you guys have breakthrough's with and all. And about the SpecOps brutes are they actually different from other brutes rather than having stronger energy shielding.
