Meh, okay, you weren't that bad. I've been worse. Just "What does HRCEMT actually stand for? And why did you make a new thread? So we could waste MORE space on Dennis's server?" and replacing a main announcement of the thread in a quote to "BLAHBLAHBLAH WALL OF TEXT". Yeah, I take back what I said. I guess you didn't mean any real offense. Also, the thread got locked. Back to the drawing board, I guess. P.S Thanks for your support, I guess. It was only the first couple of pages where you were negative. which wasn't that bad, and you still supported me. :) Now, on topic, so I don't get banned, here's basic forerunner art I drew up a while back: Which idea would be better? I have started modelling the torso etc, but not the helmet yet. Apologies again, thanks for support, people.

And how long ago where they drawn because I don't know anyone that uses crayons..... Although it doesn't really matter in this case as it get's the point across. And no I am not saying I could do better. Because I can't. /ignore
General shape isn't too bad. Did you go off the one's form halo legends?

Dude. You aren't a concept artist. Go learn some basic principles of drawing (perspective, proportions, etc) before you attempt to draw concept art. I'm not sure about you, but the people I know don't have ellipse shaped torsoes and feet. Those drawings aren't going to help anybody. They only give a severly distorted view of the front of the character. What does the back look like? Or how does he look from the side?
Besides these fundamental problems, there seems to be a lack of understanding of the forerunner style. It seems as if you have taken the elite armor and a random helmet that looks like something out of power rangers, and put them on a human. Your character is also wielding an energy sword and has multiple plasma grenades on his belt. First, I don't know why he would need that many. Second, those are Covenant weapons (read: not Forerunner). When concept drawing, remember to take functionality into account. What may look cool doesn't necessarily mean it's practical for somebody to wear/use. For example, your helmet obscures a significant amount of the wearer's vision. You have also left the chest entirely open. The chest is THE most vital part of the body (apart from the head), and you have given it absolutely no armor. The heart looks like it could be covered, but not by much. Either way, it doesn't matter as his lungs, stomach, liver, and all other vital organs are unarmored. Unless it has energy shields like the elites, then anybody wearing that won't last long. Plus, even if they do have shields, they will fail eventually, and then they will be completely vulnerable.
In short: your perspective is off, your proportions are off, and you have conflicting art styles and an impractical armor design.
I'm sorry that this comes off as so mean. If there was anything positive I could say, I would say it, but I just don't see any redeeming qualities in the design. Also, any covenant technology from weapons to armour has been confirmed as stolen Forerunner tech. The energy sword has a forerunner symbol on and has been proved as forerunner, and the same goes for the elite armour torso. Everything there is perfectly accurate in canon. In terms of the elite torso on the forerunner, while it may not cover the chest, that's what it's been confirmed to be like. Besides, there's still protective armour underneath there. Also, it does have shields, and mighty tough ones at that. The shields of the elites were also stolen forerunner tech, but were never perfected. Everything there is very much accurate. Also, while my drawings, which I never spend above 5 minutes drawing, aren't proportianately accurate, they still give necessary details to outline a concept, to be elaborated upon later, with different views etc. Besides, I'm the one modelling it, so you WILL see proper 3d views later on. (Expect extremely lowpoly stuff).

Also, any covenant technology from weapons to armour has been confirmed as stolen Forerunner tech. "Covenant technology is often referred to as more imitative rather than innovative. Covenant technology is based largely on mimicry and reverse engineering of the leftover Forerunner artifacts they have discovered. While Covenant technology is far more advanced than human technology, the Covenant leadership seems to be ignorant of how precise or powerful their technology can be. This is likely because the Covenant themselves possess only limited understanding of the Forerunner devices they reverse-engineer. "
The energy sword has a forerunner symbol on and has been proved as forerunner, and the same goes for the elite armour torso. The energy sword is very important in Elite culture. Due to its importance, they adorn it with the sacred glyphs of the Forerunner. For good luck or whatever. Essentially the same as etching bible verses into a weapon. Same goes for the armor.
Everything there is perfectly accurate in canon. For the Elites. There aren't really any truely canonical images of the Forerunner. In terms of the elite torso on the forerunner, while it may not cover the chest, that's what it's been confirmed to be like. *See links below*
Besides, there's still protective armour underneath there. Also, it does have shields, and mighty tough ones at that. The shields of the elites were also stolen forerunner tech, but were never perfected. That is correct.
