You know, it's pretty hard to make something look like gold into such an old engine. By the way it depends a lot by the angle you see the ar: sometimes it looks just yellow, others it looks just a dirty grey and not as often it looks close to a goldish color. But as it's still a wip, I'll be maybe doing a custom reflection cubemap for it and an higher resolution texture (as this is just the standard one cleaned and with a gold texture overlayed on it, which results in, as you said, just a color change).

I think the only real problem here is that your gold is either too yellow or too shiny. I'm leaning more to the shiny. The top is a little blinding. Personally though i don't think it looks too bad though.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B6uXwZM9CM8First time doing shotgun animations. There's a lot of minor things that I don't like about it, but overall, I think it's decent. I know that I made the shotgun too low when reloading. I don't know what I was thinking ._.

keep in mind in the reload, not only will you rotate the shotgun forward, but it will also rotate a bit to the side

Probably the shell coming out? I'll probably replace that with an effect ingame. Not that I'm going to bother getting these ingame.

the shell should come out as he pumps the shotgun back, not as it returns to the origin.

Problem is the way Bungie made this shotgun. When the pump goes back, it covers the ejection port :x

I know that since IW did it in mw2, its popular to do shotgun pumps that way, but in actuality you don't really need too. You're really just giving the shell a better chance of whacking you in the face. keep in mind that the spas animations in mw2 are bad. I wouldn't go copying them or taking any ideas from them... or watching them (I will take an m9 instead, thanks). if you want to do something other than the standard vanilla pump after having returned to origin, I would suggest something more vertical

It's the secondary trigger. Just add a secondary trigger, and check "locks in on/off state". I could send you the G36C .weapon tag he gave me which also has aim down the sights, but you hold a small grudge against me, no?

So you guys figured the way to make iron sights work. Now, if you find out how to make ti actually effect the weapon's accuracy, I'll be impressed. Otherwise, theres no reason to use them, and it would be better to just have grenades

SCREW IRON SIGHTS. dont get me wrong, thats really clever how you did the iron sights, but i have to agree. unless accuracy is actually positively affected by aiming down the sights, people can dot their screen. i know some people actually do that for cod4 and sniping.
