mooks the game is marathon. i think thats the assault rifle from the newer ones too, not the original one.

Nah, it's the one from the first one. At least, the one that came with Aleph One. Marathon 2 had a much more rounded top.



The first Marathon was my personal fav so I decided on that one.

here's my Idea

G36/m-4 Sniper Rifle with a Flash hider,3 Laser Sights,1 flash light,and 2 bipods.

Clip size:35 Rounds
Ammo used: 50 cal AP
accuracy:100% [due to a one of a kind firing unit]
power: can and will disable a tank
Range: 6.4 Mi.
Recoil:12% [due to a one of a kind firing unit]

Is also easy to fix but hard to break..is light...And is somewhat easy to make.

No he is right they are stupid, and have only made stupid competitions between people. None of them look good, nor do the designs make sense at all.

Anyone who claims that their idea is the best is incorrect by default.

nope. I'm placing keyframes posing roughly similar to the original animations, but there's frames between.

Lmao, how is your idea the best? It looks like crap. You have to bipod stands... what is the point of that, if the weapon looked good and actually looked like it would function then i would understand.

But all you do is drag some cut ups of weapons and arrange them, if you created a completly new weapon, then that would be best. Instead of using parts from the same weapons people have all seen before.

Look at it this way....My Sniper Rifle Idea uses parts from a Scar H, a G36, a M4, A S.A.W, and a M24
it also as 2 Bipods, 3 laser sights, a a Flashlight. in the World of halo it's a Gun that can be made

The world of Halo isn't the real world. And 100% accuracy? That itself deems that you're randomly making up stats. Besides, who combines parts from a SAW and a M24? That's almost an oxymoron. An accurate machine gun.

It uses a one of a Kind gas,recoil and bolt Firing unit that helps keep Accuracy up to the max It's a Firing unit I might try to make when I turn 25 years old...and if It works $$$$$$$$$ < yeah I'd be rich [btw Key word(s) is one of a kind]

Explain the firing mechanism in the same way you would write out a patent application.

It uses the Force from The Recoil to load each Bullet and the Gas is vented by a small vent that works like one 2X it's size due to a Recoil Gas vent unit...The Bolt is a M24 modded bolt made to mix with any m-4 or G36k Bolt and the Bolt as 5 small vents to vent the Gas. the gun is also air and sometimes water cooled and is made to be as good as a Ak-47. AK-47,well..You can bang on it with a hammer,put it in water,put in snad,dirt,and mud,and abuse it to the point that it's covered with rust and it will still Fire half the time...my gun is to be made to be that good...put In English, It will keep you Alive

Show us a diagram of your recoil-powered loader. A picture from pimp-my-gun isn't sufficient.

But seriously, if you have extra gas vents, then there will be less recoil which means that your loader won't load well.

actually with all those vents the bolt will barely move back to chamber the new round and the bullet isn't gonna go that fast or far.

i absolutely love the look of the pistol reload. this is a great idea mooks, and long overdue.
maybe make the assault grenades do a little less damage so you can grenade jump. i actually used grenade jumping in a few situations in the original marathon. usually when i got stuck in some sort of caustic liquid that causes deadness


ok, can i explain something to you? the new m4 carbines used by the US military are considered to be some of the best and most accurate rifles out there. i saw a sniper competition on TV where a police team used the m4 as their "sniping" weapon, and performed on par with the military teams. even at that, the military m4's have all of the parts they can to reduce recoil and whatnot, including a selector switch. do you know why? because full automatic, while you may not realize it, means that 3 seconds of continuous fire will drain the magazine. i know a guy who has been on 3 tours over in the middle eastern area. he says that even on the 3 round burst setting by the 3rd shot you need to readjust before you fire again otherwise youll be hitting air.

add a longer barrel like i assume you did (combining m249 and m24 parts?) and fully automatic fire, and you do nothing but exponentially decrease the accuracy and effectiveness of the weapon

this isnt the first time i have seen you pull some weird "fact" out of the air like that and pass it off as realistic. you might want to do some research before you try to shoot down multiple people
E2: and bolt action means you have to physically pull a bolt back and puch it back into place to eject the spent casing and cycle a new round into the chamber. THAT would increase accuracy, but it wouldnt be a machine gun, and it wouldnt be practical with the parts you have there.

Let's see less fighting and more wips.

Best One? Yah right. Doesn't really look all that realistic. Take a look:

Tip: Weapons that carry heavy rounds and have a bended stock tend to have the higher amounts of recoil (the AK-47 is a great example). So think, 50 Cal. round and a SCAR stock would rip your arm off if you fired 3-4 rounds in Full-Auto.

The above design is actually realistic - although it is an M4 Carbine and nothing new - and has the attachments in logical locations. But yeah, I don't think we want the Weapon WIP thread clogged up with some stupid designs which won't get modelled.

Thanks. True, the M4 isn't really new. Weapons made on Pimp My Gun won't be modeled at all unless the original creator does it.

It's a Sniper weapon and I'll get to the Bolt problems it's a gun that can be made like I said. It just takes time and Blood,Sweat,and tears from hard work to get it right. and in the end It might pay off.

Oh yeah Donut you're off on one small thing. The military has no automatic rifles. (the M249 isn't a rifle) The m16a4 and M4 issued to soldiers have single and burst fire. The M4a1 which is issues to Delta/Seals/SOP is single and fully automatic.

And once again

@Sgt Blaze If you vent the bolt then when there is combustion of the gunpowder theres less pressure in the chamber. Sure the bolt might cycle but the bullet will be horribly inaccurate because most of the gas escaped through that vent, effectively reducing the velocity and the range of the round.
