I keep my Halo CE version at 1.0 but I updated original Halo to 1.10 as to play multiplayer. Sometimes programs don't work with Halo CE for me even though I have a compatible version.

Does it work with Windows 7? I know it seems like a dumb question but for some reason I can't get third part applications to work with Halo.

Maybe you shouldn't be here.

We have a whole thread dedicated to tutorials, and you should really touch up on what you know and you personally can do with the Halo: CE before asking the public how to do something. You may answer your own question. http://forum.halomaps.org/index.cfm%3Fpage=topic&topicID=8580 Edited by RabbitFood on Sep 16, 2014 at 10:09 PM
I did look for some tutorials I just didn't happen to find any. I didn't make this thread without researching a little first, even if it appears that way.
Edit: I did find tutorials but not specifically for what I was looking for. Edited by iNanJan on Sep 17, 2014 at 07:13 PM

I wanted to make a request for someone to edit the camera tracking on the warthog so that the view is in first person when driving and sitting as gunner. I've already tried this myself but it's too complicated (for me anyway). So if someone could do this that would be great.

I have not tried this. Someone mentioned editing this in Guerilla. The only thing I could find was to un-check the third person view box but it didn't do anything. You also have to check the box "allows weapons".
So would it actually be first person driving or is it just a normal view with a weapon inside of the vehicle?

Quote: --- Original message by: SpiralI have. It works, you just need a custom animation for the camera, make the fp arms a scenery then create a custom animation for those arms! Here is a scenery with bones. http://youtu.be/FEmWVXL_eHg Now that isn't an elite biped there, its an elite scenery with bones! This would mean that FP models would animate as scenery properly, which means custom animations would work on it, which means you can animate a camera to be in place of the arms, which means a FP cutscenes!
I noticed your Heretic Hunt project trailer and saw it had first person cut-scenes. It looks good btw. Changing the subject to vehicles; how would I create a first person view in vehicles?
Has anyone attempted to do this before?
Is there a way to make first person cut-scenes in Halo CE or Halo 1? How about first person vehicles?
Quote: --- Original message by: Spartan314 Post the last entry of your debug.txt (it's located in your Halo Custom Edition folder).
There's no debug.txt in my Halo Custom Edition Folder. Where can I find it?
Yeah I tried both multiplayer information and player information then compiled and it couldn't load anything to do with the biped and fp gbxmodel. At the bottom it says 'Failed To Load Scenario'.
so i tried to change the fp arms to some elite arms in guerilla and i switched out the player information cyborg biped with a custom elite biped and saved it. then i tried to compile a map in tool but it couldn't find any files, sounds or effects for the elite biped and fp arms. is there something else im supposed to do? how do i fix this?
So tool can now find the scenario but cant load the modded playable biped or any of its shaders, effects etc... what do I do?
So I've tried ripping my scenario files and tags and everything using HEK+ but when I try to compile it in tool it says it can't find the path or read anything. What do I do?
Quote: --- Original message by: altis94 Have you tried removing "_" from the command?
Yes it didn't work. Any other suggestions?
I'm trying to compile a map on Tool but it keeps giving me this error message and I don't know where else my scenario files could be.
Couldn't read map file './toolbeta.map' file_open<'tags\levels\test\deathisland\deathisland_.scenario'> 0x00000002 'The system could not find the file specified.' couldn't open scenario tag 'deathisland_.scenario'. need to get the following tags: levels\test\deathisland\deathisland_.scenario
### FAILED TO LOAD SCENARIO.
So what am I supposed to do? I don't know where the scenario could be...
Does anyone know where I can get some Halo 1 elite fp arms? I've seen the CMT versions and the Halo 2 versions but I want a model based off the Halo 1 elite. Where can I get these?
