Nope, that's in Halo CE. You'll notice because of the OS box in the hud. Maybe it was just a joke.
Well yeah, I was awe-struck on how similar it looked to the Halo 3 version of Foundry.
Wait, this isn't Halo 3?
<(O_O)>
I hope I can remember 3 weeks ago...
Who are the owners of the tags? I know that the end user creates them in the software package, but doesn't Microsoft own your stuff during a certain step in the HEK process???
I'm not saying ripping is bad or good, I'm more curious of the ownership rights.
Quote: --- Original message by: Jesse I think Foundry definitely needs more attention. Hardly anyone knows about it an it r gud map.
Maybe release it first?
I found the forerunner architecture for Lumoria to be awesome. My favorite is the control room interior at the end. The forerunner seems nicely polished. Who did the control room? Or the forerunner architecture? They did a good job on it.
(-_- )
If it makes people feel better. I said 'hopefully', not in a factual sense....
I was actually thinking about that when I posted my comment. I knew somebody was going to say that!!! lol, you caught me.
Well, you were not responsible for gameplay. You did a great job making it look beautiful, and I'll give you credit for that.
You were talking about MJ. I saw that you had something talking about a 'gamenight', but the thread seemed to be more about facts on MJ. MJ has nothing to do with Halo, but I know you will argue back with a comment about the Boston bombing which is agreeable.
Maybe Dennis is having a bad day, who knows.
It's alright. Hopefully, the longer we wait, the better the end product.
Well, I'll say it. Seclusion has to be the most overrated map in my library.
It's a nice looking map, but it's absolutely boring. What is the point of a nice looking map if its gameplay is un-original and boring?
Meh, I need to stay away from all this negative thinking.
I see what you mean, but isn't that based off the lack of single player maps? I don't know, I enjoyed it more than the CMT single player maps because of its originality.
But I do find the rating options to be a bit silly sometimes.

Keep up with the good work guys! I will support whatever decision you make in order to optimize the map some more.

I'm confused on how it can be overrated when there are barely any other single player maps out there...
I find it to be original and fun, but there are some bugs. This is based on my preference though.
Seeing as you love beautiful shader work, I can see why you might not like it.

i was just under the impression that due to the map size, there was a movie or two hidden in there.
so, someone gonna run a server? Edited by Ubergoober on Apr 20, 2013 at 03:17 PM
If you are desperate enough, you will find it....
Quote: --- Original message by: waffles Do two gpu's affect heat that much at all? Obviously you would (possibly) need more power to support it, plus you would have to consider the space inside your case.
More Power/Energy = More Heat
It all depends on the size of the computer and the air flow you provide.
You can have millions of fans blowing in your computer, but airflow is the most important. The cooler air will become hot air, and it will need a place to escape.
Have a fan that directs air in, and another fan that directs air out. So if you have two fans to direct air in, and two fans to directs air out, you will have greater air flow.
Also, air flow will help with dust management if setup correctly.
Also Also, chasis size is important because you wouldn't want heat to be condensed into a smaller area depending on how much power you're running.
Yes, GPU cards these days have their own cooling mechanism, but that cool air becomes hot air within the computer, and it ultimately needs to escape. Edited by InsaneNapkin on Apr 18, 2013 at 10:13 PM
I looked at all your other maps. I'm instantly a fan of your work! Have you ever thought about doing other themes besides a lush forerunner environment? I think you should try something different for your next map, like a new type of environment, or a different architectural theme.
But that is just my opinion, I just want to see how you could expand to other forms of halo 3d art.
Keep up the good work!
