That did it! Thank you!
I tried saving the maps under the following directory, which is what the program automatically defaults to: Users\Tom\Desktop\Halo CE. I can save it, then when I go to play the game via the desktop, the maps are not there. I'm not that computer savy when it comes to this, so any hand holding is appreciated. Thanks!
I have installed the "Extinction" map on the desktop in a folder I created just for maps. I go to open the map from the folder, and I get an error message saying it does not know which program to use to open it. When I did a search for a program that would open it, I came to Openoffice. I installed it, and tried to open the file again from the folder. Did not work. I also drug the map file into my Halo C.E. desktop icon, thinking I would now have a copy of the map in the program. I went into Halo C.E., and tried to find the map. No map. I know I'm doing something wrong, as I've never tried to download or play maps before. Would someone help me?
