I discovered the real problem, it was a corrupt profile. It was corrupt in my windows 7 documents folder but not my windows xp documents folder.

I typed everything right "map_name example", and it shows the screen like its loading the map. It will even eventually play music from the campaign level very slowly and repetitively. I downloaded one of the custom ui files with campaign support and got the same result. However if I run the original non-custom edition Halo I can play campaign. This problem only occurs on windows 7, if I switch to XP then everything works perfect besides the fact that I need a different Halo CE installation for it. Windows 7 is my main OS so it's a bit inconvienient.

I have a problem running single player mission maps on halo ce. It freezes when I try to load any single player map. It doesnt freeze when I try running it on xp only on windows 7. I have tried reinstalling windows 7 once to resolve this issue but it still didnt work. |
