I have a model with open edges. To close some of them I used optimise in gmax. The edges closed but I got alot of ### ERROR couldn't update edge # Does anyone know how to fix this? Thanks
Thanks that worked. I think there were custom animations that came with the vehicle. How do I install them?
There is probably an easy answer to this, but I don't know it. lol Certain custom vehicles that I have downloaded show up in sapien and in the map but I can't fly them. The N-Pelican for instance. (author tiamat). I can sit in the back but I can't drive it. I would appreciate any help you guys can give. Thanks
The problem is that I don't know which point is #0.
If I try to weld all the points in the level at once I get "No vertices within weld threshold" I have managed to weld points that are close together. I have no idea what Vertex #0 is so I tried welding the corners to the points around them. No luck.
I am afraid I don't have xfire.
Tool does not seem to create a wrl file for it. How do you weld in gmax? I have never figured out how to do that.
I this when I try to strcuture my jms file I get this:
Couldn't read map file './toolbeta.map' building intermediate geometry... building collision geometry... reducing collision geometry... building collision bsp... reducing collision bsp... verifying collision geometry... ### ERROR vertex #0 has a bad point. ### ERROR failed to import collision bsp.
What do those errors mean and how do I fix them. I am using gmax so I don't think I can use a wrl file.
