as some of you may know, E3 is going on this week. if you dont know what that is, its a big gaming expo where companies and game developers show off new games they have coming out. well bungie showed a new trailer for halo 3 and i noticed a few things. you can see that video here:http://media.xbox360.ign.com/media/734/734817/vids_2.html

the first thing i noticed was that in the video there was a few seconds where it showed masterchief holding a... here it comes... a pistol. as some of you may know the pistol was taken out of halo 2.

also there was a few seconds where it showed a brute with a weapon on its back that was unfamiliar to me.

now how this relates to halo CE is, if bungie releases more info on this weapon and we see more pics videos of it. it could be made for halo ce.

Looks like the Anti material rifle from Ghost in the shell that or an oversized covvy sniper

i know the brutes thing is the hammer, i had just forgotten about it at the time.

as for the pistol, the dual-wieldable ones were the ones in halo 2. they are called magnum's. they are less powerful though, but are really good if you can get head shots with them. especially if dual wielding. i too have used them. but the one in halo 3 seem to be the original one from halo 1. just shinier.

nobody even know what it does yet. it could just be a heavy object that they hit you with, or it could have some type of plasma-ey thing on it.
