hey i found a place selling 3ds max 9 thats semi- in my price range... i really want to use it to make maps/weapons and stuff but i dont know if i should spend all my money on it. can i get some advice/ details on 3ds max? i dont know if it will be worth it.

It's really no different than 3ds 8 unless your like working at Pixar or something where a lot of it's newer features would be more useful.

I heared it doesn't work with halo... but i'm not shure. I think the ghost made an exporter though.

I don't think Bluestreak works on it. I know blitzkreig certainly doesn't.

i think chimp works with max 9.
oh and btw gmax has an animation exporter now. Though it's only on halomods right now. Man your lucky if you can afford max 9. |

im actually goin to get a student discount because my sister is a student. lol. aka 3dsmax9= 180$
 but i dont have ANY 3ds max rght now. i only have gmax which wont save my files cus its a douchebag |
