Yayapa's tut isn't working out and most other tuts require 3dsmax. Can anyone give me a link to a beginner's map making tut?

Can anyone give me a link to a beginner's map making tut? h-guru has some tuts on halomaps i believe, those are the best i have found. with yayaps there is a problem with like adding nades or something like that, i think you leave that part out. btw those tuts that you are talking about..do not require 3ds max. I learned from a 3ds max tut when i only used gmax. The only differences between 3ds max and gmax is how the texturing is done and exporting. i used gmax and learned from a 3ds max tut..so can you. |

Or you can use GeometricsGeeks tut, it worked for me. After that every tut works for me

But other than that, for GMax users, his is the best... Just remember not to add grenades. Haha. |
