I know I have posted something like this post before, but I never found out what to do. If you didn't read my other post, then I will tell you about what happened: The map I was making had no errors in tool while compiling, I tried Radiosity in Sapien, that didn't work, then tried it in Tool, still no luck. I figured out my best bet was to buy more RAM, but I was just making sure there wasn't ANY way to either skip Radiosity, or to get it to work. I have 512 Megabytes of RAM. Here are some screen shots of Debug and Command: BTW, the other post right next to this one that has the exact same title isn't the post I was talking about, I accedently double posted, really sorry, Dennis. Quote: --- Original message by: CLS_GRUNT i dont think its beacause of ram i can run lightmaps just not on one level i think thats its level that causes this problem I have ran radiosity on other maps, so we have already figured out that it is only this map. It is just because I don't have enough RAM for this map. I was wondering if there is any way to either skip radiosity, or get it to work without buying new ram. Quote: --- Original message by: Tarzan you can sorta skip it... I think. I've never tried this, but I imagine you can just create a light bitmap for the map in paint. You'd need to open another one to see what it's like, but I think giving it a sky and an all-white bitmap with low ambient radiosity in the sky would work fairly well... Yes, I've tried this, in fact, I came up with it by myself, but you have to start radiosity, then as soon as the numbers appeared, you save it, and replace it with a white bitmap, I've done it plenty of times, but you have to actually start it. Here is a picture the skip lightmap thing: http://forum.halomaps.org/index.cfm%3Fpage=topic&topicID=7637 (it isn't the map that it said Out of Memory, it is another one) Edited by The Spartan on Jun 29, 2007 at 10:17 AM
