Can I just compile one section of the bsps in the Halo singleplayer? I want a50_control.bsp as a map for a machinima. I want it exactally the way it is. How would I make it into a multiplayer map?

it would be cool to see more sections of the halo campaign turned into multiplayer maps.

I was thinking on making alot of maps from the singleplayer, Like the hangar in the capital ship or the cafeteria. I saw that it was already made but I wanted to make one exacally the way it looked in the game.

Also when I did that(new bsp) I tried to open it in sapien it didnt work it.

rm860 doesnt have xfire. i just remeber him saying that haha. also your doing it wrong. you make a new .scenario, add a sky, set it to multiplayer, scroll ALLLLLL the way to the bottom and the very last thing, click add and scelect your bsp. save the scenario and it should work

Well the bsp I want is the prison in the a50 map. When I do that everything is black even when I make a sky. So I just ripped the bsp and making it into a map in 3ds Max 8.

Its black because you didnt rip the lightmaps lol, or the lightmaps arent linked to the scenario_structure_bsp tag

No, you should have ripped it with the rest of the map. Its the bitmap named after the structure in the scenario's folder.

Then listen to what im saying and put open the scenario structure bsp and put the lightmap bitmap into it. Then you can open it and see everything.

The a50_control.scenerio_structure_bsp is linked to the a50.bitmap. (The lightmap)
