I dicided to use my 1337 skills, and make a hud bitmap (those of you who acualy have H2V will probly disagree with the message in it, but after someone tests this, I will make you H2V people a tut on how to make HUDs)
I looked threw the tags (witch are free at halo2vista.net) untill I found what I needed to mimic.. the sheild bar, so I made a bitmap similar to it (oddly, H2V has alpha reversed on shield bars.. lol.. gardint on normal map, image on alpha..) so, I then went on to using the magic blue.. first of all, I went "OH NO! H2V probly doesnt accept the magic blue anymore..." so I had isues that I had to mess around with, but after all of it, tool ploped out a bitmap that the magic blue worked on. then I went all happy in notepad trying to make sure share.map wouldnt dismantal the link to my tag.. and now ive been waiting like 3 weeks for one of my friends to test it.. so now its your turn! lol
SO, who wants to be the tester? (well.. I should probly just post the link here seeing how I dont exactly care if this hud gets leaked lol)

Ok, everyone and Anyone wanting to test it, here http://www.megaupload.com/?d=OZXQD212the scenario is in their just because a friend of mine said he never got any scenario, and the halo2vista.net had a scenario in there package.. Remember to back up globals.globals. Now, I dont belive it will just plain work first try like that.. make a backup of shared.map, open it in a HEX editor, go FIND, type globals\globals, and change it to globlas\globlas (cause that is similar enough if it is looking for certain paterns) build, place normal shared map back, test... now.. masters said to me that it might not work since globals is very differnt in H2V, so if the map doesnt even show, you have to go back to shared map (remove the global edit...) this time, change objects\characters\masterchief\masterchief_mp to objects\characters\masterchief\masterchief_pm, use default globals, change the masterchief_pm tag I sent to mastercheif_mp while keeping the default MC in tact.. then compile, and then again switch back to normal shared map to play sounds anoying, huh?

He can't, he doesn't have vista..... also kirby.... what did you do other than make rainbows of things? I know it's a test but still. Well anyway i'd like a test map to test it in lol... the globals thing sounds complicated and time consuming......

Well anyway i'd like a test map to test it in lol... the globals thing sounds complicated and time consuming...... .. what rainbow?.. and there is a test scenario for you to test it in.. just ignor the step of the globals, just place new MC in the place of old MC, and HEX edit shared.map's line of the location of MC to something else. then compile, hex edit it back to normal, and go ingame to test.

the hud is the same but muilti colord... is all I have to do is compile the scenario?
