I've tried to make my own custom lift using Offspring's animated scenery tut. The tut was very helpful, thx to Offspring. basically, I think my lift works except for a small problem, it's useless. The node you use to place the lift is pretty far away from it. any idea what causes this? what should I do to fix it? if you look carefully at this pic, you can see how far my node is from my lift. This makes it impossible to place the lift properly.

thx but the frames are directly underneath the lift. also my model is dead center on the grid.
just a thought... maybe I forgot to delete a reference model? will check tomorrow. comments welcome.
OK, I would have posted again, but it thinks I'm self bumping so I just have to edit this.
I figured it out. turned out that pole was longer than I needed it to be and I screwed my animation up when I moved the model to the center. It's fixed now. :D Edited by goye2cz on Jun 10, 2007 at 08:10 AM
