I don't always make shaders..

ok, i know ai are brainless monkeys when it comes to vehicles, and i know theres a tutorial and i did follow the directions, but the ai still move around like idiots and dont follow command lists. Can someone tell me what i did wrong and how to fix it?

Which tutorial did you follow and did you check the ai driver flying flag in the .vehicle tag? They kinda ignore everything and just drive if that flag is checked.

i used kirby_422's tutorial, and yea i did check ai driver flying....thats what it said in the tutorial

and now the ai doesnt move an inch now that its unchecked....

they always swerve back and forth.. lol, and did you do the bottem part about avoidance distance? that will give them the intelect to avoid walls (although if they know you are there, their disire to flatten you overwelms there thinking lol)

only command list ive ever used is enter vehicles lol.. have you got normal AI working with a command list before? you should check that out before you acuse the tut lol.

yea ive gotten AI to follow command lists before, and yes i checked the part about avoidance distance. is it because im using a pelican? tho i have used a banshee and they still swerved around...

make sure you set the "ai throttle maximum" field in the vehicle tag, too just in case you forgot...

thats just if they want beter drivers. they are more dangerous without it.. but they crash to much if you dont put a reasonable number in lol.

and btw geko can they drive faster than the vehicle's max speed if you set it higher in the ai throttle maximum field? example: the vehicle only go .225 but you set .55 in the ai throttle maximum....
