I made this topic for those who own a wired Xbox 360 controler just stating that you can hook it up to the computer. Here are the directions-
Install
1)Get your wired Xbox 360 controler and blug it in. 2)Wait for Windows to reconize it. 3)Then just click the middle box when the window opens. 4)When sucessfully installed the light should turn to first player.
Ingame
1)Select the profile you are going to use in Halo PC or Halo CE 2)Go to seetings then click on gamepads. 3)In the right collumn there it should say Xbox 360 controler.... Click it so it goes to the left. 4)Go to controls then on the top where it says keyboard/ mouse click so you edit the movement on your controler. 5)Click ok, save then your done.
If its done correctly you now can use your Xbox 360 control while playing Halo on the computer.... It mostlikely works on anygame. Remember this is only for Xbox 360 controler and not the original Xbox

Quote: --- Original message by: Ged117 The original xbox controller needs a special device to be implemented, but, once you plug the xbox's one in to the device, then into the com, its the exact same setup(NOTE: you can also edit your xbox(original) controller so that it has a USB end and do the same thing. But you need software of the net. i got an adapter for xbox 2 USB....so i use orignial xbox controller sometimes....actually like never.....except for (don't ask why I just do) yoyo race

I use the controller exclusively. I mapped the controls so it would be exactly like Halo was on the 360. Seeing as I play campaign maps most of the time, I don't really care too much for the pressure sensitivity - I just avoid the AI's line of sight.
