I follow a tutorial and I convert my sound into WAV, when I create the sound tag and compile with the command this appears.
"C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Games\Halo Custom Edition>tool sounds sound\doom ogg 1 No More Errors For Tools By: {TLS}Udie
Please, if there is a better tutorial would you send me. I saw 10 tutorials, and everyone don't work. In the comments of the videos everyone have errors. PLease I don't wanna use Deathstar stractor, and steal sounds from blocked maps. Then latins would have bad reputation because of me. As I am making tutorial I wanna teach them how to make sound. If I show them Deathstars stractor all the new maps will be ripped. PLEASE

Not that it matters any, but you definitely have my respect for your dedication and desire to learn.
I just converted a song into a game sound file;
Separate each sound file into a different folder. Save them as .WAV, 16bit sounds with 1411kbps bit rate. All files must be less than 10MB, separate larger files into multiple pieces.
When compiling, use tool sounds directory ogg 1
Now, open the new sound tag in Guerilla. At the top is a checkbox, split long sound into permutations. If this is ON, TOOL will break your file into smaller permutations, and treat it as a single file. We want to do this manually, or else Tool will create 100 tiny permutations. That's why we split them into smaller parts if they're over 10MB.
We want this ON after we're finished, but OFF before we compile. So if it was ON, set it to OFF, recompile the sounds using the tool command above, and then re-open the sound tag in Guerilla and turn it back ON.
After compiling and turning ON the flag, At the bottom there will be a section that says permutations. Above it will be a field called permutation count. Permutations are for multiple versions of the same sound (like multiple different shouts after being shot). If you had multiple files they will all be separated here. For a song, we will change the permutation count to 1, as there is only 1 long sound broken into parts.
In each permutation is a slot that says "next permutation index". This is the next permutation that plays. Remember that indexes start at 0; the very first permutation should have the next permutation index of 1, then 2, then 3, until you've gotten every permutation filled out. The last permutation should end in -1, signifying the end of the sound file.
Since we leave the flag checked ON at the end, the game treats the multiple permutations as one sound file, and plays through each permutation in the order you set up.
I came across a TON of issues I had to work through to do this. When you come across yours, post them here. I'm happy to help you. Edited by DeadHamster on Jul 31, 2018 at 06:18 PM

Here is what I have written about sound stuff. My guess is that you are stuck on the ogg codec, which this page will provide This should hopefully give you all the information you need, prerequisites, how to compile, what most values mean. https://hek.wikia.com/wiki/SoundEdited by SBB_Michelle on Jul 31, 2018 at 07:05 PM

I'm personally not a fan of video tutorials. As they are usually highly specific to how one person did it and not easily updatable. They also are horrible to search through and not good if you just want quick answers and detailed documentation.

yes you are right, but sometimes the time is not your friend. And reading and having pictures as a reference is not very helpful. But a video of someone that knows how, it really helps. Even for me that I don't speak english, a book has a high english vocabulary that I don't manage.
