So I managed to create new names, descriptions and images for some custom maps in the multiplayer map selection menu (the rectangle widget to the right of the map list), making all the 'Unknowns' look part of the traditional map list however, I got 1 tiny issue that kinda ruins the look of the menu...
All base map names in the list (left of rectangle widget) have capitalised letters whereas custom maps are completely lower cased. How do I go about making for instance, the 'tutorial' map display as 'Tutorial' in the list?
It's obviously not a map or scenario thing as Death Island is deathisland.scenario and the map file itself is deathisland.map. I've gone through every string list too and cannot find what controls how a map name is displayed on the list. Edited by Halo Noob Modder117 on Aug 4, 2017 at 06:34 AM

That's some promising info there Halo but if you don't mind me asking what tag am I editing for these indexes?
For the life of me I swear the only tags I found edited the info in the display boxes. I just cannot find anything that references the names in the selection list section.

EDIT: For some reason you need to refresh the page for my image to show up, I don't know why...
EDIT2: Still cannot find it. What the heck is controlling how map names are displayed on that list?
EDIT3: I found this tag: multiplayer_scenarios.multiplayer_scenario_description and it seems it controls how the game displays things however changing even the base game entries change nothing. What tag references this? I think I may be onto something here... Edited by Halo Noob Modder117 on Aug 6, 2017 at 12:05 AM
