...The stock icons BUT with the added H3, ODST (maybe Reach? Don't care but if anyone has the patience by all means...)
...But before anyone mentions anything... Is there already one lying around here?
I decided to request this since I no longer have photoshop and my paint.net or tool corrupts my bitmaps...
Following Ghost's tut I used the template and added ALL the Halo 3 weapons (including a custom made silenced BR, AR and shotgun as according to the Zteam pack) but every time I use Tool and display the bitmaps in Guerrilla the texture box is completely white.
I don't have the 'calmness' or resources to continue this unified UI I was working on.
Apart from the lore friendly mods I made, I'm working on a CE compatible set of H3/HR tags. So far the last thing I need is for the default icon bitmap to have the H3 and Reach icons added to the list...

Best bet is to use the Zteam or SPV3 ones.
But did you change the bitmap settings to be sprites and then recompile the tag? I believe that should do it but it has been a long time since I worked on a HUD.

His issue is losing photoshop: Paint.net has no support for Alpha channels. It technically supports transparency, but not in the way necessary for HEK.
If you want to do any type of HUD editing NoobModder, you'll need to get a copy of GIMP or reacquire a copy of Photoshop.

Master I'm just going to put this out here... Although you and your team's custom assets are some of the most beautiful tags I've ever seen, I have severe OCD (hence my previous fix threads). I just wanted more like default tags that look like the base game assets.
Hamster... I knew that was the issue! Back in the day I found it soooooo easy to do HUD stuff with P.S... I did some searching and some people were like "ohhh P.N has alphas etc"... Bull crap.
Guys can I send you what I did and can you guys add an alpha from P.S? Or is it impossible because you need to make it from scratch and add alphas everywhere?

Whilst on the topic of this, is this why my pelican decals are broken? I made 2 new ones: A blank one for random pelicans and crashed ones (E419 marking removed) and a 'B022' decal for Bravo 22's crashed pelican however after I'm done and recompile those textures all the decals lose the transparent background and have a black square behind it... I'm assuming this is also a P.N thing?
EDIT: So what is left? After following Ghost's tut I ended up with the default line-up of base icons and beneath is a long list of Halo 3, ODST and Reach icons. I'm assuming it is just the alpha channel missing and all I need to do is a quick GIMP or P.S fix? If so, how do I do it? I'll look for GIMP I think I may of tried that back in the day...
