So anybody know of a proper tutorial that explains weapon fire sound loops that they believe is easy for noobs to understand or is just flawless?

I tried adding my loop to the 'function' area of the weapon tag like the flamethrower has it's set up but the loop doesn't play with every trigger pull and is random. I would like to know what you do to make the 'function' apply EVERY TIME you fire the gun instead of at random.

Basically the loop plays when you fire the gun but it doesn't play every time you fire. I'm assuming somewhere in the function area there is something I need to input to make the loop apply with EVERY trigger pull?

NEW EDIT: Are there any masters in sound in this community who could cut up the SMG loop and make it three separate fire sounds like other auto rapid fire weapons instead if this sound loop thing I'm trying if it is impossible?

There is two different "export to functions" fields in the tag that do different things, so keep that in mind.

This is exactly how I set it out. I'll stuff around with the 'bounds' stuff and see if it changes anything.

Thanks for the on-going assistance.

EDIT: I changed the 'primary firing on' to 'primary fire' and now the sound plays at random but it still doesn't play every time the weapon fires...

Went from one instance of firing to random instances of firing... Now if only we can make it EVERY TIME the weapon fires...

I have a feeling we are uncovering the reason for everyone using those different sounds...

I just want them for personal usage (I don't release stuff because I suck and only make personal alterations to the stock campaign).

I got every Zteam Halo 3 weapon working except the SMG and Sentinel Beam.

I don't get why nobody had done the SMG correctly, everything is just fine except that 1 weapon and it kills my OCD.

Also with the sentinel beam, how come it works in the Takedown series but when I set it up the fire sound never plays? Don't tell me sound loops need scripts or open source...

They broke the sentinel beam and did not make the correct Halo 3 SMG as it doesn't have its actual fire sound. Everything else was fine except these two weapons and it just ruins the collection. Unless the Zteam pack here is an old one because I noticed the Takedown series has a working sentinel beam...

I just wish someone posted either a completely perfected pack or at least a working sentinel beam and proper SMG... I've spent months trying to fix them myself but nothing seems to work properly.
