Yes it is I again... And for those who haven't noticed, its been months and this is my 3rd post about the Halo 3 SMG fire sound...

I failed at using audacity and combining all the loops, burst fires, single shots etc. Sound creation isn't my thing.

So I moved onto the ripping program and tried getting the files off of a jtagged Halo 3 map I downloaded and I ended up with the same results...

I cannot obtain an SMG fire sound even if my life depended on it and I've finally given up.

Please for the love of Halo, surely someone can rip it (however you guys do it). Or if someone could combine the loop, burst, single sounds you would be an absolute legend.

General Question: So there has never been a map in HCE history, with the Halo 3 smg and its actual fire sound? Literally all I've ever used in my time playing this were SMGs with Halo 2's sound or some custom dodgy sfx...

A few months ago I posted asking about why Zteam (or anyone else) don't have the Halo 3 SMG SFX and all use either a really dodgy SFX or use the Halo 2 SMG SFX.

For months I've tried hundreds of times to change it myself but failed every time.

Awesomely I managed to somehow implement SBB.M's provided sound files into Zteam's SMG, the result was actually a lot better than I thought.

I set up the fire loop like the flamethrowers under the weapon tag's function area and I made some adjustments to perfect the output. HOWEVER, I hit a brick wall...

When you fire the SMG you can here the Halo 3 SFX perfect just like it is in Halo 3 but...

The loop only activates with the first 'trigger pull' of the loaded magazine. So if you fire and empty the whole mag you can hear the loop as you should. If you stop firing and pull the trigger again before reloading to waste the left over rounds the loop wont play again until you reload a new magazine.

I was just wondering with the function area, is there something I need to set like a 'chance' thing or something that will make the loop play every time you fire the weapon?

I'd make a video to demonstrate but I don't know of any free easy to use computer recording software...

TLDR: How do you properly set up a weapon's fire loop where the loop will play guarantee everytime you fire it?
