When in game, there is a thick black line attached to my player and most surroundings. This heavily blocks my vision of what's happening. This never used to happen on windows 7, but when I purchased a Lenovo Ideapad 300 (Intel Core i5) Windows 10, it is permanently there.
If anyone thinks they know how to fix it would be great. If you want to see the picture you can email me as I don't know how to upload pictures to this forum.

Do you know if you are using your integrated graphics card to run Halo?
If you have a video card you should be using that.
If you have an NVIDIA card you can enter program settings and select your preferred graphics processor.

This sounds like safemode, never launch the game in safemode. The game just tells you that it's better because it was never prepared for newer gpus, so it doesn't recognize them.

I got it working guys. It turns out, all I had to do was upgrade my Intel HD graphics driver.
Thanks for the help.

I'm also having a graphical error, when I fire a weapon there is no flash coming from any of them? I've turned off safe mode, and did a clean reinstall and for a time it was fixed but soon reverted? I thought it might have something to do with SOI's single player adventure but it affected every weapon in the game custom or vanilla regardless of if SOI's files were present. Please help!

And you've tried removing all graphical enhancements provided by your gpu?

Honestly, no I haven't, nor do I know how. Would SPv3 or SOI carry enhancements that would end up affecting weapons on vanilla maps? Either way I'm open to trying it if you wouldn't mind explaining how I'd go about it if you have the time.

I meant your gpu maybe trying to enhance the experience of your games by default (AA, AO, Gamma correction), by turning all of these enhancements off you might fix your issue.

Typically you'll want to first turn off each setting one by one and then re-open halo to see if the particular setting you adjusted did the trick.

Apologies for the slow reply, but thank you! This worked like a dream.
